I got lucky and got 1st after 30 minutes of suffering. I would've got 1st on the 4th try if I didn't launch my green shell before almost reaching the end and then it hitting me
I'm *glad* you could not reach Toad. He is NOT a rival. If a non-rival reaches 1st place and keeps their continuation of 1st when a 2nd/3rd place rival slips or crashes, he or she is likely to have their 1st place race longer to reach. Their lead ONLY applies to 150cc or Extra. You DESERVE 1st place cup after the 4 races in ANY cup. I ALWAYS love it in the end when you land in 1st place along with Peach and Yoshi taking 2nd and 3rd next to you. I LOVE it because of their "engine sound." USUALLY, you'll have 2 random rivals in any cup.
Once Bowser overtook us, in the first place, and although I threw the blue shell and lightning at him, he took a great advantage in the race. For me, outside of the cameras, nothing affects the enemy.
However invented this level including the mirror version of it 🤬 I never understood this racetrack it's not very Toad like. When I was a kid I was expecting mushrooms and loads of mushrooms

This is the worst idea ever of a mirror mode for this stupid track! I've managed to win in first earlier, but I wasn't satisfied at all tbh. I felt nothing but rage from this! Nothing about Toad's Turnpike Mirror Mode was fun...
After many hours of pain and suffering, I've managed to be able to always take 1st place in this map on mirror

Toads turnpike on mirror mode is the hardest level in the game

The only time mirror mode has every been interesting.
