Hi Natalie! So good to see you in Texas! I’m a new viewer and love watching your adventures visiting yarn stores and fiber festivals across the country! Thanks for sharing your experiences with us all!
OMG! My favorite shop in Texas...I go to Texas 3 or 4 times a year, to visit my BFF, and this shop is a MUST for me to go to from Frisco. LOVE IT! Thanks for sharing video.
Stumbled across this wonderful shop the other weeks…. I had stopped going to McKinney as often when another quilt store I loved had closed. Didn’t know this gem was there….will get me back for sure…everyone was lovely and some great yarns but also fabrics!
I have totally enjoyed this video. I wish I lived closer so I could visit this yarn store. I will be shopping your online store. You have everything under one roof that I enjoy doing. What an awesome video and store.
I love the McKinney knittery. I planned a whole girls weekend there traveling from Arkansas. Well worth the trip. Love it so much. We are planning another visit in 2024🎉
Just catching this video and oh my goodness, what a fun place to go and visit….good thing I don’t live in McKinney otherwise I’d spend a lot of money buying yarn or fabric. But, it’s not that far from where I live that a trip wouldn’t be out of the question. 3 hours, I checked. LOL
Oh, I love this episode and I love McKinney Knittery. I’ve been ordering from them for years. Great job you two, loving all these videos. Very very talented.🥰
My husband and I were in Denton and we took the scenic route home. He said we were going to McKinney. McKinney!! There’s a big yarn store there and Natalie did a podcast there. So we went to the yarn store. It was great!! I sure wish I lived closer. 😁😁 Bought my first skein of Spincycle.
This was a great tour of the shop; and Ginger and her staff are wonderful. I was so happy to be there in person in March while visiting my daughter. Of course I bought yarn. I can’t wait to go back.I love all your video’s Natalie! 💖
I was looking forward to this yarn store tour. I learned a lot of the history behind the store as I have only been to the newest location in the current, beautiful iteration. I love going to the McKinney Knittery! 🩷
My parents live in McKinney and I have been to that shop multiple times. Everyone there is so friendly & knowledgeable. My favorite place to go when I am in town. ❤❤❤❤
Love this video! The interview was outstanding ❤! Please do more, it's so interesting having insight into knitting shops across the country and hopefully you'll be interviewing designers as well🙏
What amazing vision Ginger has to take the building from that awful grey office to what it is now. Such a gorgeous space and such an amazing range of beautiful yarn, thread and fabric. I wish this was local to me! (I'm based in the UK .)
Wow! What an amazing yarn shop so big. Love Hedgehog Fibers from Ireland, just finished a reversible cable scarf in the color crush. I have this idea for a sweater, but can't find a pattern, very frustrating. All the yarn stores here in NYC say look on Ravelry, but can't find one.
I love yarn stores to see their yarn and what they choose to carry. Would love to see the yarn and hear about squish factor. Colors, yardage and lots to talk about. Kent just films over them quickly. I think you strayed away from your yarny purpose. I don’t live anywhere near that store and I think it a waste of MY time to hear about the past and what it looked like and where it was and where you parked your van, and where you went for coffee while Kent tags behind. Most sit and knit shops have a coffee maker in the shop. Lots of this podcast could have been saved for your files. This podcast had lots of filler.
I don't think I've ever had a truly great experience at this shop. I've been several times during the yarn crawl, and just to visit. it's very click-ish and intimidating. This last yarn crawl was very telling. the employee at the check out counter was rude to my son who was participating in the YC, and didn't stamp his passport or offer a stitch marker. It's a beautiful store and they do a lot of great things for the community but if you're not a local then just pop in and out.
I love this shop! I’m there almost every Thursday. I’ve met some incredible people there, and made wonderful friends.
Lucky you
What’s wrong with me? ! I could watch yarn and yarnshops for hours…! 😂love your video’s Natalie ❤
Same! I usually play yarn shop and yarny podcasts throughout the day for background noise lol
The yarn doctor says you're perfectly healthy 😜
😂😂👍
Simple your a yarnaholic like the rest of us
Same here. I’m loving these videos Natalie.
Yay this isn’t far from me! There’s zero yarn stores nearby and I had no clue this was here.
What an amazing yarn shop
Wow, yarn heaven lives in Dallas!
Beautiful shop, and I am in love with her pink sweater!!! 😍😍😍
The best store and staff! I knit there every Friday and have made some great friends! A must stop for anyone who loves yarn or fabric.
What an awesome place! That would have to be my dream shop ❤
What a beautiful yarn store....I could wander around here all day! Thanks Natalie.
Great tour…and I may be biased, but this is THE BEST yarn store!! The staff is amazing and Ginger is the best!!
I loved this yarn store. I really enjoy watching these vlogs. I want to buy yarn in each one you go to. 😂

I just love watching these, it's so satisfying to look at perfectly arranged yarns and fabrics!
Aww yay! Thank you!
The best part was when you peeked thru the hat forest!!😂❤
Stumbled across this wonderful shop the other weeks…. I had stopped going to McKinney as often when another quilt store I loved had closed. Didn’t know this gem was there….will get me back for sure…everyone was lovely and some great yarns but also fabrics!
This yarn store looks AMAZING 😍
I love McKinney Knittery. It has a quaint feel to it and everyone there is so nice. It is definitely worth a visit.
Totally agree! I live approx 30 minutes away and every time friends or family visit we make time to visit this wonderful store.
Is it expensive
I really liked hearing from the team of employees, hearing about their favorite yarn etc. Great tour and interviews.
Just visited from NC. MY husband loved your seating area. Your shop is incredible

I live in England but would love to visit. I would have what us English say have a field day and spend a lot of money on yarn
A wonderful shop . In the UK we don't have nearly enough yarn stores . You are very lucky .
LOL
Love the yarn shops you’re visiting.

This yarn shop is the best! Hope to visit and shop there soon! Love the knitting area!
In my own backyard and didn’t know they were there. I will make a visit soon!
I absolutely love this store! A must when I’m in Texas visiting family! 💜💜💜
❤ love this store
What an awesome shop! Informative video, they covered their yarn lines beautifully. I’ll be visiting them online!❤️
Hi Natalie really enjoyed this yarn shop and fabric etc video 😊 lots of fun! Kaye xx
yes i love this store!!!!!
Suggestion: your store would do well in Europe in cold weather areas.
What amazing vision Ginger has to take the building from that awful grey office to what it is now. Such a gorgeous space and such an amazing range of beautiful yarn, thread and fabric. I wish this was local to me! (I'm based in the UK .)
I so want to go there ❤!
Fantastic video. Kind of makes me half wish I was that side of the Atlantic.
Oh, such a fun video. I'm having a terribly hard time keeping the credit card in my pocket!
I see yarn and I think I am in a candy store... Lawd knows I don't need anymore yarn, but Imma come take a look, just in case.😂😂
You need to add Kent’s picture on your van when you show the map of the US of where you have been.

Love that chunky sweater on display! Does anyone know the name of the pattern or something similar?
I’m only 5 hours away…..i gotta make a trip up there.
Oh it's so worth it!
Do you get crocheters?
looks like the old Woolworks shop.
Looks amazing, shame it's 4500 miles away from me!
Where did you go in Kentucky and Indiana ??
The price approximately
Love the shop BUT no crochet projects!!
