Goosebumps... I've recently discovered Metallica, though I am as old as the band. The deeper i got. The more i realized that they were in a different class than any other band. There is a deep spiritual connection that binds the Metallica community. Sharing your reactions, your joy, your goosebumps makes me smile. Metallica fans are awesome. Thanks !

Seattle 89 was not the only great Metallica shows- there were a lot!! As the moscow and seattle were official commercial releases. You need to see the Classic line up with Cliff Burton from 85-86, mostly bootlegged as they were under the radar yet filling out stadiums.

Yes we metal heads feel what you're trying to describe. Hard to define - but luckily we don't have to verbailize it cuz the music does the talking enough. That's why we listen - it helps to channel those powerful emotions, or thoughts that cannot be defined or uncomfortable to describe.
For something else that will likely blow your mind. Check out

They just are head and shoulders above anyone else. There is so much history and legend in their 39 years as a band... And after all this time, they just love what they do and basically cannot stop... The train has left the station and you are either on it or under it.

    @NorwayAdversary 3 года назад +1

Welcome back dude. Awesome you chose Metallica when reacting again. In my opinion, it`s best to listen to the music the first time with no video, no lyrics and the studio version. Why? Less distractions and you listen to the song like the artist intended. Metallica is a great live band, but much of the magic gets lost when you are not in the crowd. Nothing wrong in listening to live, lyric and so on after you heard it clean and free from distractions. (That`s how I like to listen to music.) If you could try one or all of these songs by Metallica, it would make my day man:
    1) Moth into flame.
    2) Battery.
    3) The unforgiven 1-3. (They are all awesome in their own way.)
    4) Mama Said.
    5) Broken, Beat & Scarred.
    6) Dyers Eve.
    7) The God That Failed.
I could go on and on, but I tryed to find songs that stand a little out. Metallica have not released the same songs and album again and again, they have not been affraid of trying out difrent things, and that`s one of the reasons I love them so much. And I have tryed to find songs not many other reactors have reacted to yet. (I feel it`s the same songs over and over everywhere.)
Keep on doing what you do man. I hope to see any or all of these songs in your chanel. \m/

Fat Jesus, I had that box set when it was new. Wish I still had it. 😥 They are, without a doubt, the best live band ever! I've been lucky enough to see them live twice in my life - in 1992 when they were touring with Guns N Roses, they were at the old Texas Stadium in D/FW area. It was once the home stadium of the Dallas Cowboys. It was general admission, no seating. I was very fortunate to be within range of touching the stage, right in front of James! I was so high with excitement and adrenaline, I barely remember it. Just snippets. The best Metallica experience of my entire life!!

@@fatjesus2618 Ah man, I'm rather jealous, but glad you got to see them. 😁 The last time I saw them live was in Fort Worth, Texas. It's a sister city to Dallas. Got to sit down that time. I can't remember what year, but there was a stunt that freaked people out and a lot of us were worried it was like the time James was nearly incinerated at the beginning of Fade to Black. A pyrotechnic thing went off and James was at the wrong place when it did...his right arm was really badly burned. Not in Forth Worth. The pyro mishap actually happened just before I saw them in '92 because someone else had to play for James then. Fort Worth turned out to be a purposeful stunt. James was alright. Whew!! I'm bummed that I'll never get to see them live again because of my physical limitations. Getting older really sucks.

Listen to the “the dark side of the moon” album by pink floyd! The whole album needs to be listened to in one stretch and it’s brilliant, make sure to edit it into separate videos to avoid copyright strike :)

Please adjust your audio settings. You’re too loud and the music is too quiet.
Did you understand what the song was about? Every single word came straight out of the bible except “creeping death” (that’s Metallica’s term for the last plague) and (obviously) the ad libbed “mothereffer”.
This is pretty much the only live version of Metallica that you should react to *for the first time*. It’s best to research their songs first so you know what they’re about, and it’s also best to react to the lyrics version for the first time so you can focus on the song. (You can always react to live or video versions later.)
I’m here for Metallica reactions and look forward to your next one! (Just fix the audio thing. 😉)
edit: Any chance you can get your hands on some decent headphones that go over your ears? Makes a world of difference!

If Black Sabbath and Motorhead had a musical lovechild, it would be Metallica.
If Metallica, Sabbath, and a coven of witches had a weeklong orgy in Lovecrafts house, the offspring would be Megadeath😂

As much as i love Metallica, I would request you to give Iron Maiden a try. I have been to atleast 5 Metallica concerts, and more for Iron Maiden. and i would prefer Iron Maiden over Metallica in live.
Try Fear of the Dark, Hallowed be thy Name, Seventh son of the seven son, Power Slave, The Clansman , Rime of the ancient Mariner by Iron Maiden .. and try live versions.
And from the Moscow concert, i believe Metallica had 13 songs performed. You must try For whom the bell tolls, and seek and destroy.

Who is that... Jason Newsted. The Bass player. The bands 2nd Bass player. The 1st was Cliff Burton. But check this out, there's another singer/guitarist, that they kicked out very early on. His name is Dave Mustane, and he founded another metal band called Megadeth. That's going way back. So all these songs you're reacting to are kinda the middle of the bands career. Although arguably their best years, because I quit listening to their new stuff after enter sandman.
Here's one for you. Megadeth Holy wars.
Use a phone to look at the lyrics while you're watching videos.
