• 1 and 1/4 cup cornstarch
• 1.5 cups of water
• 1 cup of sugar
• 1 cup of water
• 2 cups of sugar
• 1 tablespoon of margarine

I said the same thing. It's all just diff colors but same flavors. I suggested perhaps diff Kool-aid packets? Or something similar? Even the little squirt things you add to flavor your water might work. Otherwise it's just sugar flavored with food colors!!!

Adding food coloring to this recipe really was the perfect finishing touch. When the candy makes you vomit it will have a pretty blue tint.

It has NO TASTE! It’s just plain, white sugar & different colors bc she used food colors.
I just eat candy that I really like, bc it’s never been cheap here in Sweden & nowadays it’s of course SOOO much more expensive, no matter what “candy”; chocolate, “gummies”, hard, small bits of candy, crisps/chips, cheese doodles & the same but with both a salt & sweet taste of peanut butter instead and so on.
I actually don’t like any sort of candy so much, since about 20 years or so, am 46 now.
I had a period as a teen when I loved most candy, but never had any money, so I couldn’t still buy hardly anything, but that’s all changed.
Now when I have money I don’t like candy & just buys like chocolate & peanut butter to bake (& then everything end up in the broken freezer & after just a short period it’s totally destroyed so I’ll have to throw all in the garbage) 🤬
So I rarely buy candy, both bc of the high prices & bc I think it’s kind of waste of money bc I really don’t like it, so sometimes I even have to throw something away, bc it’s too old & taste strange/bad.
So when I DO buy candy, I want those sorts that I prefer & it should be of good quality so it tastes so good as it gets AND of course it also SHALL taste as it says on the packaging, or taste just as I already know how it should taste (or actually, we don’t feel the candy’s TASTE; we can just taste sweet, sour, bitter, salt & umami).
So 99% of the “taste” is what we can smell. But when drinking & eating something, it will always be a combination of taste & smell & then we also notice the structure of everything we have to chew on.
But what I wanted to say; why on Earth should anyone waste their time & money on doing their own “candy”, like this woman?
She claims that she now never again have to buy candy from a store…
Well, hopefully her kids don’t have any sense of how candy SHOULD smell then, bc she didn’t even put any vanilla or peppermint oil in some of her homemade “candy”, so all taste is just all that extremely sweet from the sugar.
I wouldn’t eat any “candy” like this gooey, disgustingly sweet stuff she claims to be “candy”, most of all bc I want to SENSE THE FANTASTIC & AMAZING SMELL OF MY FAVOURITE CANDIES!
I want that taste of my candy that I know so well & is the reason it’s my favourite candy.
But this… it actually even looks just as horrible as I’m 100% sure it will “taste”.
Please tell me she DOESN’T have any kids? (I refuse to watch any more of this sh*t!)

Stick to the amount of water needed I added extra it mixed a little like oatmeal but you can smell the fruit if you add any
I have a variety of fruits to add to next batches if this works

I'm a professional candy maker I made gummy Santa Claus and orange gummy I used real plump from the orange meaning the juice also zest from the orange peel but this isn't like I do.
