I love this tutorial!! I’m still working on them as I speak, i love the cows but they aren’t really my aesthetic, so I used the pattern but in pink and I’m going to make them a pig! This is a really useful and helpful video, thank you!!!!
Hi! Thank you for your comment! The base of the slipper is exactly the same but instead of working with the color chart, you can alternate between rounds of main color and black, and then creating the bee details. Happy crafting!
@@sarahcameron3257 Thank you for the feedback! At the moment we don't have plans for a video, but the process of making the slipper base is very similar to the cow video, so feel free to try the written pattern and refer to the cow video for more video-based support! 💜
Thank you for this tutorial. Where it says " ch 1, sc in every st around (26 sts)" when you chain 1 doesn't that cause an increase? It does for me. Thnx
Hi! It shouldn't actually, as it's just to raise the stitch a little bit. It doesn't count as one of the stitches you need to work into, so please do not work into the ch 1, only into the sc stitches! Hope that helps! 💜
Hi ! You can find chenille yarn online or in stores, there are many brands selling this type of yarn! The yarn we used in this pattern is called Flutterby Chunky by James C Brett.
Yea sure!!just use a smaller size of hook if u r using a lightweight yarn or else a bigger hook if u r using like a jumbo yarn... I don't think that jumbo yarn would actually go with it so yea
Hi! The toe cover length depends on the size you are making - It's a different length for different sizes. In the video we demonstrate the XS size, so you need to check the pattern itself on Ribblr for the instructions of other sizes! You can find it here: www.ribblr.com/pattern/chunky-cow-slippers-crochet
Our design team is quite busy with different projects at the moment, but I'll pass it on to them! In any case, you can try to modify the Cow version by changing the colors and making some small adjustments! Have fun and good luck!
So with the sizing do you measure it by your normal shoe size or do you measure you foot and see get the size you food measure by sorry if this makes no sense
Hi! The sizes are provided in the pattern, so you don't need to measure your foot. The instructions are provided for each different size and you can choose which one you want to view using the 'smart sizing' feature!

You can try with regular yarn but make sure you use a thick yarn or use more than one strand so you can achieve the gauge!
