Killer song and man did they nail it. I will never understand how Marty learned to play with that right hand technique and how he doesn't develop some kind of crazy carpel tunnel doing that, but his solos are epic so whatever works.
my favorite guitarist of all time, i wish i can play like him with his weird but amazing scale he uses. one of the best lead metal guitarists of all time
@@patroche550 i don't know if this is helpful or not, but this solo consists of 90% arpeggios and other that that it's just the chromatic scale. Marty bases almost everything on arpeggios, not scales. so if you want to sound at least a little bit like Marty, you should really get good at using arpeggios rather than looking for weird scales.
guitar battles live yea true I’ve been working on arpeggios but what I figured out is that sometimes he replaces a note or 2 in an arpeggio to a note that wouldn’t normally be in it
yeah, that's one of the things i like a lot about his playing. it's unpredictable and very distinct, and of course his amazing vibrato and the tone in his hands!

I agree
Definitely

the best
Just learned this and Youthanasia on guitar, definitely two of my favourite Megadeth songs.

Dave's pantsless solo
I almost pissed myself 😂😂
looks like hes wearing leggings
How the hell does Dave manage to sing and play that riff at the same time? The riff is tricky enough without singing.
uome20bukz not that much tricky after you learn it
it's not that hard
It's actually a really easy song to learn and play. The whole record is fairly easy... but damn good song writing.
Voltage90e the notes in the addicted to chaos chorus always gives me shivers, it’s weird.
Kick the chair is damn hard
Megadeth was such a good band at this point.......... and Marty, the boss!
I've never seen Dave finish off Martys solo like that ever..weird

Love the Youthanasia live performances in the 90's, such a strong vocal performance.
A criminally underrated band
Say them 3 times and they NEVER failed in going full beast mode onstage
lol not underrated at all. Megadeth is a well known entity of excellence.
Thank god for an intuitive cameraman at last who understands guitar solos. This is amazing!
perfect song, perfect performance
perfect album, perfect band...
totally fucking badass! I wish Dave still had those vocals.
Floored by that solo, every single fucking time.
