So, I made this last night for dessert. The recipe works like magic. I just added a few things. One was vanilla essence. Second, I sprinkled a wittle choco chips after pouring the batter into the refrigerating dish. Giving them a light stir made it visually quite appealing (marble-like). Third, my inexperienced ass didn’t realise that I had to constantly stir the batter after adding the cheese. So, it got a little lumpy. But I then poured the batter into a mixer and gave it quick grind after it cooled down a bit. The texture came out super smooth.
Thanks a ton for the recipe. 😄

Just made it, cooling in the fridge now. Tasted some off the spatula and it reminds me of "white rabbit" candies. For American taste buds, you should probably increase the amount of sugar. I decided to keep it the same but added some pure vanilla bean. It ends up tasting like a custard but low on the sweetness scale, which is more typical of Asian tastes.

Writing as I'm cooking it but I used brown sugar and some vanilla. I'll edit when it's done and let yall know how it goes. :)
Edit: it went wonderfully. My family loved it and it turns out they said it tasted like a dessert that could fit with just about anything! 10/10 would try again. I'm thinking of making it for my Christmas dinner. :)

Kinda like flan or custards but using the starch and then cheese slices to soften, so it doesn't harden-- pretty clever! That twist confused me for a moment but quite genius. I bet berry smoothie juice, or POM, could do wonders. Lime and it's zest could give you Key Lime-- add on the graham crumbles at the end as a topping is prob best.
Although, you can generally freeze a whole key lime pie in slices, indefinitely, and eat it cold... so... *you can really just do that with key lime in a unique case d;*

Not that different to a custard. Egg yolks have lecithin which works like the sodium citrate in processed cheese to keep the mixture from splitting.
