No, I still have many 38-0-0 seasons with 150 league goals and below 10 conceded. The tactic community was always just bad and exploiting ME flaws, not creating proper tactical systems and a recruitment policy.
I have a pretty good 4-3-3 defensive tactic. Conceded only 7 goals in Prem season but as you say, not plug and play. Must have in game management and no simulation.
