- In today’s episode of Know Your Ingredients I will share 5 Ways to Eat or consume Methi Seeds For Hormonal Balance. Also include in this Video are the Benefits of Fenugreek for Female & benefits in Weight Loss. Fenugreek / Methi Seeds is an amazing herb which is a common ingredient in a number of Indian dishes. It’s loaded with Iron, Manganese, Copper, Magnesium. Methi seeds also contain choline, inositol and biotin. They also contain B group vitamins like zinc, potassium, selenium, folate and phosphorus. Fenugreek seeds are believed to have an estrogenic effect as it contains a phytoestrogen called diosgenin. Through the thyroid hormone, the estrogenic activity of fenugreek constituent inhibits lipid levels indirectly. It also helps to improve glucose metabolic disorders associated with obesity.

very good info. This is why hamare yahan aachar me methi dali jati he. Thanks for promoting our Indian food and Indian diet. After delivery Methi paak is given to newly mother . My mother used to grind methi,mishri and haldi together and she used to take that powder in the morning.
Please mention how much quantity of methi we can use daily?
