I love it when he said hello and hello again, so young and innocent but we know henry was far from innocent. I would've like to have thought he loved her like that at the beginning.
So heartbreaking to watch them fall in love and despite knowing how it ends, somehow still root for them.

I love this show. Of course, I know how this love story ends but I like that fact that this show doesn't change the ending and tries to give us a happily ever after. It gives us the middle of that story. That according to historians, Catherine was probably the only woman he ever truly loved and taking into account the timeline, Harry was good person who was unfortunately turned all bad because of his ambition and his hopes to secure an heir to the throne. And damn, Catherine is one ambitious and driven and powerful woman.

Not at all. I loved their relationship and how it was developing and truly wished he lived. I hate how little time they had. Some aspects of Harry and Catherine were cute but given I know the ending (and given how the show made Catherine seem a bit more manipulative and while I will agree that they were at one point in love, it really painted it a bit too much that she manufactured it to occur in some ways, if that makes sense, which I think occurs because they leave certain parts of the book out which actually probably made her actions understandable if I recall correctly).
In the book of this (the constant princess) the story is about Arthur and catherine’s love and the marriage between is all about ambition and legacy
I am in love in Harry as young man. But when I just imagine, how the future will be... Gosh! I'm shivering at the thought. What's more 😄 I love this edit about them. Do you have in plan something similar? I would like to see it 😍

@@spreadhappiness3250 Henry will eventually leave Catherine to marry Anne Boleyn and leave her in an isolated house until she dies. Speculation was that she was poisoned but nobody really knows.. It causes England to have a falling out with the Pope and the establishment of the Church of England and the beginning of Henry the VIII marrying and killing a lot of women. Henry is a sociopath.
You can tell he's a bit cocky though, which is a red flag (as much as it can be a turn-on).

I'm a fan of Irishman Ruairí O'Connor as Harry anyway, before TSP. He's only in his mid 20s and a lovely young actor. Beyond handsome and those green eyes of his along with his natural dark brown curls kill me 😍

Henry was a charming and generous man in his younger years, but he wasn't potrayed as an angel either you can definetly see of the type of man he will eventually come to be.

I don't really mind all the inaccuracies (we Hispanics already got the cutesy scenes with kid Henry and his being absolutely smitten with the beautiful Katherine but very little of them as an actual couple so this series feels like a continuation of sorts to the English plot in 'Isabel'). I'm simply glad that people are finally seeing that KOA was far more beautiful, passionate and intelligent than the old hag the Lady Anne fans make her out to be. The only thing that really chafes is that history seems to indicate she and Arthur didn't lay together, at least not in their first wedded month. Papers from the Alhambra contain letters from Katherine where she writes despairingly to her mother because her husband 'did not thrust' within her and how her ladies consoled her with saying they were both young and had plenty of time to lay as man and wife in the future.

However, I think they mean once Anne comes in the picture, shes shown as young and lively, while Catherine is shown as the old, drab barren wife whose no longer useful or fun lol. This show shows the young, amazing woman she was(in their anachronistic edgy way 🙄), and we get her pov for once, plus they got her coloring right for once 😂. The Anne, Henry affair and Elizabeth I reign (their daughter lol) is what most Tudor adaptations are about. I do like that Starz is giving some more ignored figures a chance to shine or be inaccurately depicted (or both) lol.
The Kings of Spain, aka the Catholic Monarchs, DID NOT live in Granada or the Alhambra, specially by the time Catherine was in England. They lived in the castle-palace of Segovia, known as the Alcázar of Segovia, for much of their lives after conquering the south. Actually it was the de facto capital and most of the King's offspring were born in the nearby area of Segovia region. Catherine was born in "Alcalá de Henares", a town now currently in the outskirts of Madrid (at the time, Madrid was a small village) and relatively close to Segovia in the middle of the Peninsula. So those said "Papers" or letters you claim from Catherine cant be from the Alhambra.... :S so that makes your story much less believable, sorry.

They had such good chemistry, I just wish they were actually in the show more. And I hate the season finale, so many loose ends! I hope season 2 (they better have one!) will show the central couple more because can I just say what beautiful people they both are?
I think it got renewed for a second season and I really can't wait... Even though the last minutes of the finale got me dying, but I hope they'll have other cute moments in season 2

They all said the couple were a good match, he trusted her and left her his regent when he left to go to war. Unfortunately, only 1 child (a daughter) of theirs matured to adulthood. And none of their sons lived to adulthood. Henry became obsessed with siring a son and then young, witty Anne Boleyn arrived to tempt him. At this point, Catherine was not of child bearing age while Anne was.
