I witnessed the Designers when they were testing the Mono wing throughout the Proto Type stages!………..it was a lengthy process with each stage noticeably better……..they wouldn’t stop until they reached PERFECTION! ✔️✔️😎🇨🇦

Great review! I like what you said about the unique ways this foil can turn. I am a wing foiler who is always looking forward to seeing the foil industry progress. My hope for the future of foiling is to have mastless foils, which utilizes a magnetic fusion to attach the foil to the board.

They're working on a larger version suitable for winging. It's not available yet, but coming soon.

I'm very interested in this but have North foil gear. Could you describe more detail how to knock off the plastic cap on the North Sonar Aluminum AF85 Foil Mast as you mentioned at 7:53

Tried it with a wing foil and wouldn’t recommend. Rode similar to a 1300-1400cm2 in low end lift but it was too inefficient for a wing foil. Main complaint is absolutely zero glide, as soon as you’re off the power you’re in the water. Needs a pretty steep wave too.
That said it did some cool things and there’s potential in a lower drag version of this! Must be a blast on a kite!

@@kanedewilde Thanks for answering the question that's on the lips of all wingfoilers who came across this ! Lack of glide is a complete show stopper indeed.

What kind of screws are holding the mast to the board? Awesome review, btw! 🤙🏽

Stainless Steel M8 hardware come with the wing for attaching the mast. The board is attached using M6 Studs and Wizard Hat Cone Nuts found here: kiteboarding.com/proddetail.asp?prod=foilmount_wizardhat_cone_nuts_studs

      SAME QUESTION!

@@kountchev1 Same here. I'm usually have 2 setups with me, CF pure 88 (111 or 90 mast) with w550 on kite fuselage and w633 on surf fuselage. Using 550 in good conditions for big air and 633 for freeride, especially if the wind is not steady or too low or there is a lot of seagrass. I ordered T1 and I'm expecting it to be the replacement for my 633. From what I see here, it should be similar, as I have exactly same stance with 633 as here on the same board. I also ordered a sabfoil adapter to be able to use it on my masts. I should be able to try it in mid of September and I'll let you guys know.

@@oleksandrshneyder576 Time for a review? I have a similar foil fleet and curious how're you doing?

    • @oleksandrshneyder576

I was finally able to test it about one week in different conditions and can compare it now with w633. I was riding it on cf pure 88 (same board as in next video on this channel: ruclips.net/video/pIRlcye-yiE/видео.html) , moses/sabfoil mast 90cm with sabfoil adapter. Kites: cf hyper 9m, cf infinity 12m and fs soul 15m. Wind 6-16kt mostly gusty. My weight is about 83kg.
T1 has bit less front foot pressure than 633. When I'm riding 633 my back foot is in front of back strap (like in the next video) and I'm putting it in the strap only before jump. With triton it was more comfortable for me to have it bit farther back, in the strap. Same position for me as on w695. Speed range, I'd say, same as w633. It's flying on very low speed and according to my smartwatch going till 32kmh with average speed about 20kmh. Way less pitch stability than w633(obviously), similar roll and faster turning. It feels like it has less drag than 633 and accelerating bit faster, but has absolutely no glide. Jibes and tacks without foot switch are as easy as on 633, only thing you should control the pitch, especially if you like to downloop in maneuver, but it's going naturally after several minutes of riding. Foot switch should be faster than on 633 and requires some support from the kite. If you have constant lift, roll tacks with foot switch are also quite easy.
The wind range of 633 I'd say is bit better than of t1. I'm starting to use 633 and 15 soul with about 5kt wind. T1 with this wind is no fun, as it has no glide and it feels lame. For me it's not going to be a replacement for 633. 633 is the wing that I can use in all conditions, when the wind is too light or too unsteady or there's a plenty of seaweed and I can't use 550 or 695 for jumping. I'll keep t1 it for the moment for some freeride sessions when the wind is not too strong and the water is flat or there are some nice waves. But it's not going to be my favorite wing as I like to jump and I'm not sure that t1 can handle big landings well. But if you are more about freeride and you are bored of 633 you could give T1 a try. The another review you could check: ruclips.net/video/LBac8BG8wS4/видео.html it's more or less similar how I feel about this wing.
