I am so sorry for your loss. As hard as it is sometimes, God has people come to be with him. It may seem unfair sometimes but maybe your father passing Glorified God by someone getting saved. I couldn't imagine loosing one of my parents but it would bring me joy to know that they are now with Jesus and are more happy in Heaven than they ever were on Earth. I NEVER EVER post on things like this, but I am REALLY struggling in my faith. I have had the most horrific year I have ever had and just when I think it's over more ugliness shows up. I can't find peace and I can't find my faith, which for me says a lot. " If He doesn't answer, he has something better for you".......hoping so. This song hits very close to home for me

I can totally relate...I went through hell and back last summer, almost died, lost all my family except my husband, lost my mind and almost lost him...I struggled so much with my faith, especially in the midst of so called Christians condemning me like Job's friends did...when I finally came out on the other side in April this year, there is a peace and a whole new perspective. Yahweh talks about testing us in fire and coming out pure gold on the other side....and while I'm sure there is more fire to come, my faith, strength and hope are so strong now that I honestly don't think anything or anyone could convince me that it wasn't worth it.. I know that I know that I know with every fiber of my being that He is God, that He has me, that He loves me...Hold on chick, and if you let go, no worries...He has a way of holding onto us even when we lose our grip...Keep praising Him...always praise Him no matter the situation...and while for a long time I forgot, every time you think about it, cry out to Him and thank Him for everything you can think of, if nothing else, thank Him that He is still in control of all of this. He said in Jeremiah, just before he sent his peeps into a 70 year captivity "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." He told them to grow and prosper, even in the adversity, even in captivity, even while their whole lives were crumbling around them and so much hurt and heartache was everywhere...and He was and always will be faithful....we have been redeemed. No matter what the others said or thought about you ,remember ..."all of our righteousness is as filthy rags and it's only by His grace that any of us truly live. I praise God that you can see His grace more clearly and now know for sure that no matter how far away He seems, that He never leaves us or forsakes us, and His love is everlasting. Six (almost seven) years ago, I was in Haiti (that's where I come from) when the earthquake hit Haiti; I hoped that I knew found this music and knew enough English to understand it!!! Last year I was heavy into drugs, I overdosed...I didn't realize it at the time. I went to go to sleep, when my head hit the bed a voice in my head said go to the hospital. I shot up and begged my friends to take me, they did. When I got to the hospital they said had I fallen asleep I would have been dead within the hour, My kidneys were shutting down. I believe that voice was God. When I got out of the hospital, I misspelled a song and this popped up. Praise God! I'm no longer, "Far Away" :)
