It amazes me how far Japan has come with the development of their Shinkansen. I rode the original back in 1976. I like that Japan has relied on electrification of their train lines. the US has gone with diesel mostly. Anyways, keep going. Good videos. Thanks.
Diesel in France is like steam machines for us. But diesel traction is still there where we don't have electrification of certain lines. Anyway, it's very expensive to get power on a line and Usa is too vast to get their lines electrified. But electricity can get the fastest train in the world as 320 km/h is already as much as we can go on a normal rail. It's like 200 miles per hour for the TGV. Diesel traction have less power and are new machines and are smaller but they are still needed .

Thanks for this amazing video. I would love to see more videos like this one.
