Poor Laura, that olive! I love that you left that in for us to see. You seemed like a relatable Disney princess today-your critters following you around, your adorable son coming and going, the wonder at the olives and the crash after you tasted it. A fully enjoyable video! Thanks for sharing!
I love how you went from pure delight to absolute disgust with your olives, haha! Your willingness to be real is why we keep coming back. Thanks for bringing us along! 💚
Russell was so cute today !...Laying in the crate...in the pot...on the table behind the olive tree....he has such a fun personality ! Finding olives was super exciting...let us know how they cure
I finally know why your channel is so amazing, you wake up to a surprise frost, a flat tire and rotted tubers and you don't miss a beat with the optimism and energy.
Can I just say that I have never been a cat lover... I’m a dog kinda girl... but Russell has made me start to LOVE cats! Him laying in the crate cracked me up! He is with you wherever you go... loves to be in your presence. ❤️
Anyone who says they’re “not a cat lover” just hasn’t met the right cat! I adore cats, have had four over the years, befriended many outdoor neighborhood cats, and have gotten to know different cats belonging to friends and family. Cats are as wide and diverse as people. If you keep your heart and mind open, you’re sure to meet a cat you love!
@@PerfectPride ... oh I have had cats too!! Haha... with personalities as diverse as people’s.... but they have always had kind of a “take ya or leave ya” attitude. Not really a desire to please exactly. Dogs on the other hand never hold a grudge.... want to please so much.... want to be right by your side always and are faithful to the end. Russell seems to have those attributes as well and he is so cute! But.. on the good side.... cats don’t dig holes in the yard chasing moles.... they don’t jump on neighbors wanting a “pet”... and they don’t bark all night. I’ll give them that! Hahaha
T his makes me sad it see all the beautiful flowers ,one day the next day gone just gone. This is almost a year later that I'm watching this video, Aug, 16th 2023. I'm not looking forward to this day at all. I'm a summer lover.😢
How many of you were saying, "No Laura, don't eat the olive!" The harvest would be less complicated if they were like grapes. Now you know why olive oil is so expensive.
Yes, I was saying no, no, no. We had 2 olive trees in CA in the back orchard and my Dad never harvested them. I asked him why and he said they have to be 'cured' first - I think that was the term he used - he was too busy harvesting all the fruit trees and mostly almond trees (15 acres); some walnut and a few pecans. We didn't have peanuts but someone at work once asked me how they were grown - I knew they grew underground; and they also asked how cashews were grown. That one I had to look up and was surprised at the process of harvesting cashews (and also how dangerous they could be if not handled correctly).
So cheap here... Crete Greece...it has nothing to do with harvest or cure as in price. It has to do with where it grows and zone/climate. Here in Greece its the main tree so most everyone has olive trees to harvest and produce oil or cure olives. A farmer sells the oil around $2 per liter and around the same for prepped olives a kilo. But you guys get it much more expensive because you do not produce and because of shipping from mostly Southern Europe
Laura, my husband tonight out of the blues commented: “has it started to snow in Laura’s place? “ He had never once tuned in. Gardening is not his thing. But apparently he recognised your voice … Who knew, you have a passive fan in my household! 😀
Same. My husband could care less about gardening, but he knows who Laura is as soon as I mention her name in regards to anything I am doing in my garden.
Russel is the BEST photo-bomber EVER….and we love him😍. So sorry you had to learn first hand about olives; but I have to admit that I laughed hysterically. Thanks again for taking us along on your daily rounds.
To thank her for all the cheerfulness Laura brings to this tight-knit community, we should try to find a way to get Proven Winners to name a flower after her! How about “Laura’s Aurora”? She is a natural phenomenon that brightens our world❤️
Hahaha,I almost spewed out my tea when you popped the olive into your mouth. Then you spit it out and I lost it again. Too funny. So glad you did not edit that out. Russell reminds me of my Mister Tubbs. Follows me all over when gardening, has to be right there, falls asleep in the darndest spots. Benjamin was a delight today. He always warms my heart. What a sweet boy.
My mom used to cure them in three gallon jars, first with the lye, then the lye is taken out via water, then salt water cured. Each step takes days with daily monitoring with test papers. The rinse step is a daily water change until no lye comes out on the test paper. When she would test them she would take one out, slice down to the seed and then you touch the paper to it. They were the best olives, like a kalamata without the vinegar and extra oil.
Yes Laura, I live in the south of Italy and they are usually cured using water by family members who have trees, so I was just waiting for your reaction after seeing you pluck one off the tree and pop it straight into your mouth. Your reaction had me laughing so hard 😂 as I did the very same thing years ago with the very same reaction. 🤪🤷🏽♀️ Live and learn right?!!! 😁😃 My family have these massive tractors that come in and shake the trees to get the excess fruit which haven't fallen and send them off in crates to be pressed for oil. A small amount are cured at home, salted and placed in jars with garlic and olive oil. Delicious 👌
Hi laura , l'm watching from Sri Lanka for a quite while now . Your channel is addictive!!!. Love the positive energy that you're giving and love how you share most pure authentic experience. You are the biggest inspiration in my life right now can't wait to start my own garden oneday .Blessing you with health, happiness, peace and love to keep inspiring . Lots of love from 🇱🇰❤️
About the olives, my grandpa used to get some to cure himself, he made one batch were he kept the olives intact and another where he split them. The intact ones were a little bit more bitter than the split ones, so everyone in the family could choose depending on their taste ! He used dill (both seeds and stem pieces) to season the brine and it was the best thing on earth along with my grandma cooking... 😏 I miss those times, wish i took the time to learn how he did it, unfortunately he stopped when i was too young to realize and care...
“I HAVE OLIVES RUSSELL … LOOK!” LOVE that you are sharing your exciting news with a cat!! 😹 And, you need to add word bubbles over Russel’s head, depicting what HE is thinking while you are talking!! (Like at 21:55) 😄
"I've got Olives Russel!"🤣 clearly he knew they'd be bitter. So glad this was today's video. I have a cana and an elephant ear im going to try and store for next spring
Love the excitement of growing olives and also letting Benjamin use a hatchet! Our children and now grandchildren love to go chop stuff in the woods and know how to use sharp tools. So refreshing this day and age to see you teaching him this as well. Also when he gets a little older. Read Tuckets Travels to him. Best book ever for boys and my girls loved it too!
Looks nice and sunny for you, but b-r-r...freezing temps 🥶 Greetings from Windermere, Florida zone 9b 🇺🇸 Happy Veteran's Day and thanks to those who served 🇺🇸
I love that you are educating Benjamin how to use tools. He will grow up with so much knowledge, skill, and confidence! Many parents today would die of fright at the sight of of a 3 year old with a hatchet. When done appropriately, allowing kids to do grown-up tasks is such a valuable teaching moment. Also your olive face is pure gold 👌 🤢 😆
Omgosh, LOVED this video, from missing the trash can, Russell in the crate and you trying an olive. Sorry, but you bring so much joy to my morning coffee(at your expense)!
Hi Laura! I'm in zone 5. I planted white callas with white spotted leaves adjacent to our home's foundation 4 years ago where they have overwintered successfully. So happy not to have to lift them out each fall. And they've multiplied nicely as well.
🤣🐈🥰Russell was sitting on that olive tree for a reason he was trying to score a back scratch for finding them olives!!😆 Cats love to lay on cool dirt. Just because your plants are gonna have down time don't mean we're going anywere!! I love the educational info you teach us!🎄☕💞 I have to add that in this video you had your coffee as well, it was nice bonding over coffee with you!!
The look on your face when you bit into the olive. Ohhh priceless. I have a great memory of giving my husband his first persimmon....not ripe. Same look. LOL
You might want to consider giving Paul the pumpkins for his pigs. Skunks, possums and deer could be drawn in to your property. Just a thought. Loved the reaction to the olive! Thanks for sharing.
Benjamin is such a TREASURE!!!! Cracked me up when he kicked the pumpkin further into the chicken coop rather than pick it up!! 😂🤣 Great way to start the day (hoping to get about 100 daffs and tulips planted before it rains) with a lesson from Laura about cannas and callas along with humorous moments with Russell and Benjamin. I’m raring’ to go now! ♥️🐈👦🏻♥️
The canna lilies are a BEAST to dig and separate, especially when they have filled up the whole container. Loved Russell in the basket and Benjamin hacking the pumpkin. 🐱❤💪
I planted one red canna, I purchased from one of our garden centers, in the ground around June (it was tiny, in a 6 inch pot with 3 little stems coming out) and had to dig it up just a couple days ago. I didn't think I could get it without my husband's help but I did and oh lord...I knew it had more than grew 6 times bigger but when I dug it up, I was surprised to see that I will be getting approximately 32 or more new Red Canna's next year to plant. That is of course if all goes well in storage. I'm storing them today.
Do I need to separate my bulb 'mass'? I'm worried if I don't, they'll rot in the middle, but I'm also worried about hurting them trying to detach them. I'm bringing mine into my basement for the winter (zone 6a).
@@dpstoops I don't separate the mass until spring. I just put the whole chunk in the basement in some peat moss and get as much soil off as possible but don't worry about picking it clean. It's much easier to separate the growth points in the spring when the dead parts of the mass have desiccated and you can just cut them away.
I only watch one planting and it Laura's I love the passion she has and she talking about what she does what she used but she over talk not enough plants or remove the plants she has to remove be4 frost Russell looks cute in that basket. Benjamin Franklin always come out to help his mom he great little help
Laura the highlight of this video was your excitement seeing the fruit of your olive tree and being brave enough to taste it in front of us. Priceless! Of course Benjamin always steals the show too!
Good Morning! Great video to start the day. Russell in the crate, Benjamin helping his momma and Laura spitting out the fig ~ a day in the life and so real. Thanks for the happiness.
Totally unrelated to this video but I have been I am looking forward to seeing the garden shed project….I think it would look beautiful painted black , matches the vibe of the black fences and the berry stands and will just pop with the green grass …
Laura you are a natural teacher. Your way of explaining how things grow and where to cut and how to store....I think you have a better teaching style than Monty Don and the gardeners world team....I learn so much from you where as sometimes I come away from a GW programme with questions. Thank you so much xx😺
Carol Klein is pretty good at showing how to do stuff. I have been watching her autumn series this week where she's been showing how to dig up, divide, and propagate a lot of plants during fall. I don't know what her area would translate into an American zone. I oftentimes learn more from her than Monty too.
Can we please just take a minute to acknowledge the contribution that Russell bring to your videos lol. I just luv him and without fail, he nearly always makes an entrance xxx
Watching you interact with your son is even more fun than watching you take care of your gardens. You are always positive, welcoming him into what ever project you are tackling.
❄️Good morning to all from chilly southeast Michigan. Love watching Laura creating her fabulous videos, I learn so much and appreciate all the hard work. Yes, sad to see the plants succumb to the new season, but it’s an amazing transformation to look forward to again come spring! Benjamin, growing so fast, just like a weed!! Enjoy a great day everyone. P S . Yucky olive, too funny 🫒😟🤗🧡
Regards from México City 🇲🇽 Laura 👋 I always watch your videos, you had helped me a lot with my garden and my english classes 😌 here we don’t need to storage the bulbs, we only cut the frozen leaves 🍁 I cannot imagine the amount of work for you with all that bulb plants 👏 👏
I knew the olive tasting wouldn't go well! We pick and cure olives every year. You can also pick them green. Either way you have to soak them to get rid of the bitterness - also, slit the olive with a knife before soaking, or, as we do, we use a stone to lightly pound the olive to split, one tap with a stone splits it open. Benjamin was adorable as usual.
Oh my gosh! Olives!! And even better, I got such a kick out of Russell lying in the top of the pot you were putting on the dolly that I laughed out loud. It's so evident he loves you so much. We can tell WHOSE cat he belongs to since his greatest joy is just being where ever you are Laura.
Okay sorry, two comments! You are so fortunate to have all this footage of your children. Benjamin is clearly a product of his environment. He is just as positive and pleasant as your whole family! I wait with baited breath for his answer every time you ask him a question. I know I’m either going to melt or burst into laughter! Thank you for sharing his sweet soul! I know putting your kids in the public eye is a scary thing these days, but we all need our dose of Benjamin! He was definitely heaven sent 🙏🥰
What zone are you in? I decided to experiment and not dig up my cannas this year. I just cut them down as far as possible and then insulted them with a thick layer of mulch.
I have native olive trees on my yard. I just realized how lucky I am when I saw Laura celebrate her 4 olive production. PS: first time commenting, keep up the good work, love your channel!
This has been a favorite GA growing season of mine. A lot of variety of content, plus I don’t have a large yard for growing beautiful plants and I so enjoyed more things in pots. Not that I don’t enjoy the south garden etc….love it! But the thought of an olive tree in a pot excites me…but poor Laura tasting that uncured olive.😖🪴🥰
Thank you for this video! Today is my 19th birthday, and my first year at college alone in a new state. Your videos always start my mornings off well, and are one of the few things that have stayed consistent in all these recent changes in my life.
I was mentally screaming “Don’t bite it!” I live in high desert (Colorado) and, like you got so excited to see actual olives on trees in California. So….again, like you, I HAD to taste one. OnlyI had been warned! Fresh olives are the nastiest thing ever! An experience never, ever to be forgotten. (But I still love olives- the ones knowledgeable people have done inexplicable things to.)
Laura gets a star for giving me laughter for the day! As soon as you said you were going to taste the olives from your tree I settled in to watch the reaction when you bit into one. Right off the tree. LOL. - - Seriously who was the first guy to discover their acrid bitter taste and even wanted to explore anything more about them. 😆 We all learn at some point. Just not on camera that are going to be seen by thousands of people. Thanks for taking one for the team. I live in Zone 9 and I get very few figs from my tree. Not because it doesn’t produce. It’s because of the birds!! Do you know an effective deterrent to keep them away? I tried aluminum strips all over the tree and an owl. Didn’t work.
So many bulbs for flowers next year. A lot of work, but savings in replacement cost! I was chuckling at Russell in the crate. What is it with cats not being able to resist chillin’ out inside a box? 💚💚💚
Another lovely video 💕 these kind of videos make me feel like I’ve actually spent the morning with you Laura 💕 so Thanks 🙏 now I can go and do mine now I know what I’m doing xx
Oh my goodness about the bitter olive. I have to admit that your reaction made me actually laugh out loud! Thank you for keeping it real and not editing out those unplanned gardening moments. I'd like to see the curing and final taste on the remaining three olives.
I love the beautiful coffee cups you use but I could never do that. I’d drop them on concrete, get soil in the coffee, or worst leave them somewhere where I was working and I’d find them next season. Do you ever use ones like the Yeti cups? Perfect video for me. I went out this morning to find some plants taken by frost. Didn’t see it coming either 😭. Can’t wait to see the heat on in the greenhouse.
How exciting Laura!!! I know the excitement of growing things from scratch as I only did it this year for the first time. It was lovely to see a seasoned gardener have the same excitement too. Congratulations, you must tell us how it goes
Laura's olive face was priceless! Makes it hard to imagine how the soaking and brining process occurred in history. Russell in the crate proves he is all CAT! Great video, lady!
What a nice video. I loved the variety of things you shared. Each activity was new to me and so interesting. Congratulations on the olives. I'm aware of a few people growing Olive trees and you are the first to have a harvest. All the best with the water and brining process. Please share your experience with it. Thanks.
Kind regards from Germany. My cat, we rescued him from Italy, loves our olive tree too! Just like Russel! There must be something magical about the tree. If your tree is also 600 years old, Russel lies like our little rascal in the treetop.
Of course I can’t help but smile and be amused at every video you post, but today was the first time I’ve laughed out loud. Thanks for sharing your bitter olive experience! 🤣
Amazing root ball on that canna. Imagine what might’ve grown if you planted it in one of those big troughs you put your blueberries in! Didn’t you plant some at the college? Are you going to retrieve those rhizomes? Perhaps Rosa will save them for you. The olive experience was a major lesson for all of us. I would have done the same thing. LOL. Loved seeing Benjamin helping you, especially with the pumpkin. What a little sweetie. Looking forward to seeing Samantha Grace tagging alongside him next year. Thank you for sharing.
Oh my goodness!!!! I almost fell off my chair laughing so hard the second you put that olive in your mouth! I knew that wasn’t going to go to well for you, but the unexpected removal from one’s mouth 🤣😭🤣😭🤣 I’ll be giggling the rest of the night. You are so adorable and precious to all of us! Bless you Laura for all the joy you bring us!
When she pitched the viola and missed and had to pick it up I laughed out loud. 😂 I love that you leave in such relatable things. Thanks for sharing your sweet life with us. Blessings to you. ❤️
Your olive tasting was so funny! I learned something new due to your experience! I loved seeing Russell hanging out in the basket and just wanting to be near you. What a sweet kitty. Benjamin is absolutely precious!
Fig tree grow figs on new growth. So, either prune now that it is dormant or next dormancy to keep it a smaller tree. Greenhouse will be great. It will not have die back on the limbs if it doesn’t go below 25 degrees (for hardier verities of figs).
Boy, that Russell sure does have a strong personality. Love it he really makes me smile by all the love he gives all of you but mainly he stay close to you it seems. Thank you so much for sharing your family and life with us all. God bless and many blessings
This video made made me smile ear to ear just because all the happy vibes , thanks Laura ! I used to grow a row of red Cannas is along my garden , they multiplied like crazy and I just can’t throw any plant or bulb away that half tries 😅 we had bushels of bulbs to dig an store ! I quiet growing them because they took over my life ! 😅
Bless your sweet excited heart! I was literally yelling at the tv to try and save you from eating that! 🤣🤣 “Laura no, no, you have to cure them first!” hahaha Like you could hear me. 🤣🤣 Well now ya know. Boy oh boy, the things we do for the love of gardening. TFS God Bless ~Lisa
Is there any better feeling than checking on a plant or getting ready to store it and seeing that it has thrived??? 😍😍 Great results, Laura!! Your canna/calla planting vid this Spring inspired me to give them a try in my own garden. 💫
Bavarian Fig Trees are very winter hardy, in Germany we can plant them outside. They need protection under -15 Celsius, I think that are 17 degrees in America. Greetings from Germany.
My parents have tons of olive trees where I grew up. The temperature there gets to 30 F several times during the winter. Olives also grew in the mountains where they received a lot of snow and colder temperatures. So your olive tree is probably benefiting from these cold temperatures, but I doubt that it would survive a zone 5 or 6 climate, so it is good that you moved it into the greenhouse. Olives are also evergreen. They are usually harvested between October and November when the olive fruit is at its prime, and before it receives a lot of rain so that the oil flavor is at its best and is not saturated with water. I am so Jealous! I wish I could grow an olive tree, but it is impossible in our zone 5 climate and no greenhouse. Enjoy it, and cherish it. Olive trees bring me so many childhood memories. The smell of the olives, and all the things we did during harvest season. Thank you for sharing ❤ Edit: I wrote this post before I saw you eat the olive lol I was just waiting for the reaction as soon as you said I want to try one 😂🤣 they are pretty bitter lol You can't really eat them raw. You either have to marinate them in rock salt or cosher salt for a few weeks, or pickle them with a salt brine, some hot chili peppers, and some olive oil on the surface to prevent mold. That was pretty funny to watch. Sorry lol

My parents had a persimmon tree in their yard. Oh my! What a terribly bitter taste they were.
I agree! I rarely laugh out loud but I couldn't help it when Laura tasted that olive!.Priceless!

That would be amazing. It would need to be a coral or peachy pink color.
Who else chuckled seeing Russel in the plant crate? Anything to be close to is mom.
I cannot fathom the energy you have to have to handle such a huge place! I hope you have help!
"I learned that the hard way"...story of my life 😄.

20:47 New meme - Laura’s olive face. Russell just watches “she crazy, but I love her”
LOVE this channel!!! Thanks Laura, I’m running out the door after this video and taking care of the callas.
Good morning to all Garden Answer viewers. Laura, you're such a realist and your enthusiasm is contagious!
Seeing Benjamin is always the best of the day. He is such a wise little soul.💕🥰
Oh no poor Laura. I was over here yelling at the screen, “No, don’t taste the olive!!” Well, now you know!! 🫒
I was doing exactly the same thing. It is indeed a taste you will never forget (YUK). Greetings from olive growing Spain 😂
Me too 😅🤣
I was preemptively cringing!
I did the exact same thing too, when I was in Siena 😅.
My mom used to cure them in three gallon jars, first with the lye, then the lye is taken out via water, then salt water cured. Each step takes days with daily monitoring with test papers. Laura, I so love the way you talk to Benjamin. Your happiness at seeing him and delight that he wants to help you will set him up for life. 💖
I do indeed love your honesty it was so cute of you to experiment with the olives on camera🤣😊

Haha Laura that's why we love you! You're not afraid to stick and I love in your mouth that you know little or nothing about! Bravo for you!
Lol Russel demonstrating the “if I fits I sits” cat ethos.
The look on your face when you bit into the olive. Ohhh priceless. I have a great memory of giving my husband his first persimmon....not ripe. Same look. LOL
I learned the hard way with persimmons also ! 😆
You ain't kidding! This year I said no pots!
Laura the highlight of this video was your excitement seeing the fruit of your olive tree and being brave enough to taste it in front of us. Priceless! Of course Benjamin always steals the show too!
Hi Helen how are you doing?
Good Morning! Great video to start the day. Russell in the crate, Benjamin helping his momma and Laura spitting out the fig ~ a day in the life and so real. Thanks for the happiness.
Totally unrelated to this video but I have been I
am looking forward to seeing the garden shed project….I think it would look beautiful painted black , matches the vibe of the black fences and the berry stands and will just pop with the green grass …
Ohhh my that was funny 🫒!!! The thought that all of us are laughing “with” you this morning is heartwarming! Hope you all have a great day!
Did you get a video update of your neighbors pond area you did this year. Would like to see it. 👩🏼🌾
Yes me too!
The garbage can miss and Russell in the crate were my favorite parts. I always love the random bits of the vlogs.
Love Russel so much.
Loved how Benjamin said “great” when you told him what you were doing. 😊 and Russell cracks me up!
Watching you interact with your son is even more fun than watching you take care of your gardens. You are always positive, welcoming him into what ever project you are tackling.
You tasting the Olive cracked me up! You are just so relatable!
When you said you wanted to taste it, I knew I was in for a good laugh 😅
❄️Good morning to all from chilly southeast Michigan. Love watching Laura creating her fabulous videos, I learn so much and appreciate all the hard work. Yes, sad to see the plants succumb to the new season, but it’s an amazing transformation to look forward to again come spring! Benjamin, growing so fast, just like a weed!! Enjoy a great day everyone. P S . Yucky olive, too funny 🫒😟🤗🧡
Your videos are just so much better with Russels constant presence and Benjamin’s sweet helping nature. Feel good moments for sure 😊
The olive tasting was priceless!
I LOVE how you talk to Benjamin! It makes my heart so happy that he is always welcome to join you for projects.
My canna did the same thing and actually split the pot! I was amazed and so excited for next year. Love cannas!
Kitty in a box! So ☺️ 🥰 cute. Stealing the show! Thought You have to brine the olives, never heard of water cure. Thanks for the lesson.
That cat is such a character. I get a chuckle every time I see him wandering through your videos!
Yep, if there's a crate, there's a cat in it !
Russel is the cutest following you around to be with you 😏
Okay sorry, two comments!
I never dig up my Calla and Canna bulbs… they survive our winters and even spread out .. thank you for this video
So cute when Laura said Benjamin grab your jacket and sure enough he did but he didn't put it on he just brought it with him. It made me chuckle.
Plus those Yeti type cups keep your coffee hot for a long time. Also the soil and critters don't find themselves at the bottom of an open cup.
So glad to see the deli as you grew from seed finally! Now let's see if they created any tubers! I thought that's what the whole experiment was about
Oh yeah the dalias she grew from seed ! Totally forgot about them until now.
Who else is proud of Laura for deciding to wear gloves and sticking to it? 🙋🏻♂
🙋🏻♀️
Maybe it was an email from Felco reminding her she's meant to be promoting them 😂
Hey thx for the mini tour on what else is in eye few in your other pots.
🐈 If I fits, I sits.
🫒 LOL, I’ve done exactly the same thing. 22:03 🐈 “oh hooman...”
Oh my goodness!!!! I almost fell off my chair laughing so hard the second you put that olive in your mouth!
I knew that wasn’t going to go to well for you,
but the unexpected removal from one’s mouth 🤣😭🤣😭🤣
I’ll be giggling the rest of the night. You are so adorable and precious to all of us!
Bless you Laura for all the joy you bring us!
Laura you make my day!! I look so forward to each and every video. Loved that you tried that olive😊
We have olives!! Same reaction I had when I grew my first set of bananas. Too much fun.
Hi Lisa how are you doing?
Is there any better feeling than checking on a plant or getting ready to store it and seeing that it has thrived??? 😍😍 Great results, Laura!! Your canna/calla planting vid this Spring inspired me to give them a try in my own garden. 💫
Omg!! Russel in the crate! He’s so precious🥺
Thank you for sharing ❤
Edit: I wrote this post before I saw you eat the olive lol
I was just waiting for the reaction as soon as you said I want to try one 😂🤣 they are pretty bitter lol
You can't really eat them raw. You either have to marinate them in rock salt or cosher salt for a few weeks, or pickle them with a salt brine, some hot chili peppers, and some olive oil on the surface to prevent mold. That was pretty funny to watch. Sorry lol
