You deserve more views my guy. It makes me very pleased to hear that halo infinite is getting more attention and love. I was playing this game pretty much since day one. I took a few breaks due to the content drought in Season 2 and during season 3. There is just so much more content compared to the game's birth, its just night and day at this point. The only thing that sucks is the SBMM.
    Keep fighting, fellow spartan c:

It really is impressive how much content there is in the game nowadays, it's awesome! Lots of things to work toward and to keep players busy, I love it! I wonder what kind of metric (or set of metrics if more than one) is being used by those at the top to justify keeping the SBMM in the game. Either way, I can always just chill and progress in something like Firefight if I'm not feeling PvP for a day.
      Will do! 😄

@@ThunderousFolf from my experience with halo infinite it feels like the SBMM is based off of your recently played matches, sometimes it feels like you can either steam roll the entire team, to getting steam rolled by the enemy team, it has a in between but this is a good amount of my matches
I only hope for more weapons to come into the play alongside more maps

    Automatic like 👍
Your videos are always very well put together and able to keep me watching till the end even when I don't really know much about the videogame. That's talent!

Talk of the timing, I also purchased Halo Infinite recently, and am too under positive impression of it overall.
It does have issues, especially on techical side of things on certain PC rigs, but it does have a solid foundation. Multiplayer is good fun, but I'm in mostly for the campaign. And so far, it's great. It balances open world aspects with traditional Halo gameplay rather well. You can really plan ahead and do it naturally - capture a forward operations base in the region, rescue some manpower from capture somewhere near, arm up and procure a vehicle that can fit six people, then move to a major story mission or optional strike on an enemy base with all that and have a blast of an experience. Feels just right on Heroic difficulty, like a Halo game mixed with elements of MGSV. Game looks good as well and really sells the scale of your environment. From high elevation, you can see around for dozens of kilometers of traversable and non-traversable terain. A giant corpse of a guardian creature from Halo 5 lies far on the horizon. This game nails the aesthetic.
I hope the game will continue its comeback and iron out its issues with content, technical problems, and lack of singleplayer updates. Either way, it appears to be the best 343 Halo game despite all the criticism. I hope they will show the lessons learned in whatever they plan for the future, Infinite or else.
Good job on the video essay. Peace.

Your commentary is super natural. I also make videos but I think I sound like I'm reading from a script. Any advice or tips?

Here’s what I’ve got for tips for voice over/commentary stuff!
      1) Keep on posting videos. I know that might sound redundant, but in my experience through my content creation journey so far, the more I posted, the more I became comfortable with the video creation process including voice over stuff. With that sense of comfort came more confidence, which led to me being comfortable with being more expressive in future videos.
      2) Add some extra touches to your script. If you don’t use a script or just use bullet points, then feel free to disregard this tip. Adding those extra touches to your script can go a long way when you hit the record button for whatever voice over program you’re using. If specific words need to be emphasized for whatever reason (be it in anger, excitement, whatever), have those words be in all caps.
Example: “And this is when things get REALLY good.”
If you’re at a moment in your script when you find something funny, have that script reflect those short pauses as you’re chuckling for instance.
Example: “This- *chuckles* This is when things get absurd.”
      3) A good posture can do wonders. I’ve learned this the hard way as someone who used to be hunched over his desk, a good posture can allow what would otherwise be strain in your voice to be more emotion in your voice. For instance, when I would be hunched over the desk, I would feel some discomfort in my back after a bit, so I’d need to shuffle/adjust for a second, then record my next set of lines. Nowadays I make sure to not be so hunched over, and anything that sounds a bit too quiet for instance I can increase the volume in editing.
      4) Don’t be afraid to do multiple takes of the same line. If you get done reading a line and feel off about it, don’t be afraid to say that line again. Even if it turns out that you end up liking the first take better, it’s good to have some variety for any lines you’re not sure about. Of course, you have to find that balance as doing multiple takes for every line in your script would add unnecessary time. My general rule of thumb is that if you ever ask yourself “Did that sound right?” in your head after a line, it’s probably best to say it again just to be sure. You can always compare later when editing.
I’m not sure how useful these tips will be (this is the first time I’ve been asked for voice over advice), and I don't claim these to be silver bullets by any means, but these were the things that popped into my mind / what's worked for me as I thought about your question. I watched a video of yours just now (specifically the Battlestations Midway video), and I like what I’m seeing/hearing! Clean looking gameplay, good cuts, and your voice sounds great to me! Your commentary gives me laid back / relaxed / chill vibes. I also see some other videos I’ll have to watch as well (particularly the hidden gems videos, as I’m also someone who finds more obscure/less known games interesting). You’ve earned a sub from me! Hope these tips help in some way, and keep up the great work!

@@ThunderousFolf I knew some of these, but some I didn't. I super appreciate it! Thanks for the sub and checking stuff out btw. I've come a long way (if you see any of my old vids where I sound like a monotone robot) but I think I'm still too stilted. I'll give some of these a try next time I record. Thanks!

The only Halo pvp gameplay I enjoyed was Halo CE.
The SBMM in casuals ruins the fun, for me
