I am not keen on publicising specific lochs as some are fragile environments and need to treated with care and respect. However I would like to encourage others to get out there and explore new waters for themselves. To me half the fun is not knowing how big the next fish will be. Over fishing is unlikely to be an issue in the case of this loch, so I think its safe enough to say it is in the vacinity of Flora's birthplace. I hope you get a chance to fish there and have a great time.
I really enjoy fishing from a float tube, lets you get to areas of a loch you couldn't reach without a boat and doesn't seem to scare the fish too much. Find it to be a really stable fishing platform and would use in in worse conditions than I would go out in a bout in. That said I use a Sparton tube, some of the higher riding types might not feel as satble. I would highly recommend giving it a go.
