Loved your second installment! All three books sound great and will be added to my list! As well as that podcast, sounds really interesting.

    The vegetarian by Han Kang
Where the wild ladies are by Ayoko Matsuda
The core of the Sun by Johanna Sinisalo.
The novelization of Guillermo del Toro's Pan's Labyrinth is also great
Not sure if these count as new weird but check out

much like yr first video, love this installment, and I thank you for getting me thinking about new weird more. bc I got on really well with the Southern Reach trilogy, I'll def be picking up Borne. I originally tried to read Oval but fell off. however, since I loved Wilk's Death by Landscape, I may return to it...

Aww thank you so much! Definitely give Borne a go, I really enjoyed it! I’ll read The Southern Reach Trilogy and we can swap notes!
Oval was definitely my least favorite of the 3 but I’m fascinated by the themes Wilk explored so I’m looking forward to reading Death by Landscape eventually.
