Easiest instructions I have seen so far. Thank you from a self-learner.🙂
Glad it was helpful! This is an older video but please consider subscribing :)
It may be an older video, but one of the best for demonstrating how to that I have seen. Took so much anxiety away from even wanting to try to embroider on a onesie. Like that you helped with products needed to make doing this so much easier. I have subscribed and you will be my first go to from now on.
@beckyhorne4066 💛🐝 thank you !! I gotta say your comment made my day.
LOVE THIS IDEA!!! You are the 1st person to EVER suggest using the free arm. I have struggled with onsies many times!! Thanks SO much!!!
Yay!! Well if you e got a BERNINA it’s the only way to go :) let me know how yours turns out
I don't have an embroidery machine, but love seeing how this is done!! I might just get one at some time.. Thanks for indicating what is needed to do a onesie!! You're the best!!
Got and invite to watch your presentation today. Thanks, I appreciate the invite !!
Your demonstration is Awesome!! I love it. Thank you for sharing. I look forward to what else you will shate next.
Great video! Now to personalize some onesies.
Glad it ended up being helpful! It’s an older video but knew it would show what you needed. Good luck!
Thank you! Very nicely done - appreciate it!
Glad you enjoyed
Great tutorial, thank you!
This is awesome. Thank you for this!
You're very welcome!
Great video and happy you're using a Bernina as I have a 590. Thanks.
BERNINAs are best!!
Hi, thank you for the tutorial. You don't have to put the Clear water-soluble topper under the hoop?
What do you look for when selecting a onesie. For example percent of material cotton vs other blends
Honestly I don't look for any particular fiber content, I like cotton but if there isn't at least 5% synthetic then the stretch will not go back into shape.
Best video yet!
Thanks, sure appreciate it
Placement marking stickers. I like the one you used in the video and not the ones on the link. Where did you ge them?
So sorry I just checked and they no longer make them.
What machine is that you used for the freearm embroidering?
My machine is the BERNINA 790 PLUS but many of the BERNINA machines have this option
Isn't that stabilizer on the inside of the shirt scratchy on the baby's skin? I had a really cute shirt that was embroidered and I couldn't stand that stabilizer on the inside it's so scratchy. Even though it was cut away. Is there a softer choice?
An option is to fuse a softer interfacing over the embroidered area after it is embroidered.
Hi Inwas wondering why do you use a wash away-s on top?
It helps keep the knit flat and the thread can have a nice smooth surface to embroider on.
I need someone teach me how to embroider it in my machine EM 1010 but not too fast
Have you googled your model number or perhaps check out the channel for that brand? All other embroidery videos will typically be more generic, how to embroider vs how to use the machine. Best of luck
Thank you so much for a super helpful tutorial :-) 🤍
You’re so very welcome
Hello!! I love your videos!! I don't own a machine, but do you recommend the pe800 or something bigger? Also, for baby items (onesies/ blankets etc do you have to follow certain guidelines / get items tested before selling them? )
I can't say for sure on the pe800 because I haven't personally used it but the embroidery machine I have been using lately is the bernette b79 - it is a great embroidery machine with so many options. amzn.to/3uuPhDE I will say I took a quick glance at the pe800 and it seems it goes up to a 5x7 hoop and the b79 goes up to 6x10. that might make you consider going to that machine over the pe800. Let me know if you have any questions, I do plan to do a video on the b79 soon so make sure you are subscribed.
What is that plastic you used for the top to embroider on thanks
It’s a clear wash away stabilizer. There are links in the description :)
What’s the hoop size? Also do put a cloud interfacing?
If you do the designs from the video they are for 4x4 hoop. All materials are mentioned in the video, the cloud interfacing (or similar) is optional once stitching is complete. Links to what I used are in the description
that's not too hard on baby's skin. the part of the stabilizer that is inside the baby's blouse?
Nope
Where did you get the crosshairs stickers
You will find links for everything in the description below!
Hello.....what type of hoop is that may I ask....I have a baby lock and my hoop where I slide it into the machine is wide.....it makes the onsie stretch....any advice
Hi, the embroidery machine is a BERNINA 790 PLUS and the machine features a free arm for embroidery. My other embroidery machine has a traditional flat bed. It is nice for the small items but that is why I show it both ways since not all machines have this. My advise would be to consider a smaller hoop and use the first method to puddle the project. Good luck.
May I ask you what is the needle size using with the baby clothes, I have brother se600 and don’t have any experience 😥thank you
Yes of course. I use SCHMETZ embroidery 75/11
@@SookieSews thank you so much
So I did what you did exactly thank you for this helpful and simple video… I wish if there is an option here to share what I did 😬😬😂😂😂I have a problem with the edges of the exterior and interior for the design it’s looks like a holes I don’t know if you understand what I mean
Maybe because I used 90/14 needle? 💐💐
@@sallyyounus5876 You are welcome to send me an email at info@sookiesews.com and I'm happy to look. But if I had to guess I'd say too large of a needle.
what size fonts do you recommend ?
You're welcome to download that design for free and look at the size but off memory I'd say nothing much larger than 1-1/2"
What’s the name of the machine
BERNINA 790 PLUS
What machine was the second one you used?
Same machine for both, the BERNINA embroidery/sewing has the ability to use the freearm for embroidery. BERNINA790 plus - the video is older but you can see the machine here: ruclips.net/video/CtbIGkCXSCk/видео.html
