I remember many years ago RunnerGuy was trying to optimize Honey and Darling day 1 by jumping off of the platform and shielding the chus to recoil back on. I forget how it turned out.
All I remember is it seemed promising and he was having a blast testing it out. I think he was only stuck on a few of the targets.
First three items: Gibdo Mask, Postmans Hat, Magic 1.

Amazing run and commentary esp at 5 in the morning and recovering from COVID. ZFG truly is the GOAT.
This is cool so even only a couple min in because even though I have watched a lot of zfg randos having him explain stuff is nice since I am not really a speed runner or glitch expert
I was going to say the same thing. I've been watching for a while so I know what he's doing and why, but I don't know how. Really nice to get an explanation!

@shirasho I know. No hate here. I'm just saying it's nice to have it all in one place. A lot of the things I never thought to ask. Like how the map doesn't match up. I never realized that. Plus I just watch the vods because I fall asleep to them. So I'm never there when he's live otherwise it messes me up on what I have and haven't watched already.

How can you get into woodfall temple without opening the entrance (in this case gbt entrance)? You mention it briefly, but then don't explain it. Did I miss some development?
I think he is referring to the glitch where you retrigger the prologue to turn yourself back into a deku and use that to open the woodfall entrance
Do a randomizer where the chat knows where stuff is and their objective is to tell you things to stop you while you triy to gather information from them

oddly enough as a kid and a casual player i preferred MM over OOT, but as a randomizer and speedrun i prefer OOT.
I've always held the opinion that oot is the better speed game, but mm is the better game
