For some other funny items we did not get that was not noted by ZFG at the end: 1) MM Ice Arrows were locked behind Lake Hylia Grotto Center Scrub, aka it was Scrub Soul locked, aka Fishing Pond Owner Soul locked. 2) The other Progressive Hookshot was locked behind one of the MQ Jabu Cows, aka locked behind OoT Epona's Song, which is trapped in Beneath the Well that had Gibdo Mask in it. Impossible unless Farore's Wind wrongwarped. 3) The other Progressive Scale was the Skulltula outside of Ganon's Castle, which requires OoT Gold Skulltula soul. This means that the one we got from the Goron Shop was the only usable scale for getting OoT Gold Skulltula soul. 4) Water Temple Boss Key was one of the flying pots in MQ Shadow Temple. Could've easily gotten once we got Flying Pot soul, but was not necessary by any means (especially since it was MQ Water Temple). 5) Woodfall Boss Key was the Baba chest in Great Bay Temple. Again, could've easily gotten once we got Baba soul, but not necessary. 6) Great Bay Boss Key was one of the pots in Zora Cape Pot Game. I think this one was locked behind MM Zora soul, which we did get, but I am unsure about this one. 7) Great Fairy Mask was Milk Road Owl Statue. ZFG forgor moment. 8) Requiem of Spirit was in a pot in Moon Goron Trial. This was never going to happen. 9) Prelude of Light was also Scrub Soul locked, this time it was Hyrule Field Grotto Scrub. 10) Both Sonata of Awakening and Ocean Title Deed was in one of the silver rupee rooms in MQ Shadow. ZFG forgor? Unsure if we had any means to access that room.
This seed wasn't going to be possible, never-mind, defeating majora. The worst is the song notes scattered amongst 2500 checks. If he does it again, I hope he doesn't consider the buttons randomized
Truly the end of an era. Thanks for doing all these ridiculous combo randos for the last few months! Your extra long vods have really helped me get through some rougher days I've been having recently. I'm excited to see more OoT randos, even if I'll admittedly really miss MM. Hope you at least do a goofy actor rando every now and then! ❤
If you ever do something like this again, what about just giving yourself skulltula souls, since they're like 160 checks that they could be behind themselves with?
I think there might be enough checks to still make it possible- maybe a nearly no random-like setting to cut any immediate impossibilities (gold skulltula gives soul of gold skulltula) I think the biggest problem with this seed was the Ocarina notes. It's just not fun in the slightest.
@@Potatezone I think randomized ocarina notes are cool if you can be sure that there's a throughline to them. When it turns out that critical buttons are impossible, that's when it gets lame.
