There is a syndicated radio show, from Texas, that I listen to on Saturdays called Car Pro. They are always asked about car shield, and is it worth getting coverage. They vehemently say NO! Don’t do it! It’s a waste of money. Just saying…
I worked for a major European car company for years that started the Certified Pre-owned programs. We had to go through a car with a service history inspection, 160 point inspection, Carfax history report, a previous body repair inspection, since Carfax only shows something if it is reported and bring all the required services up to date before it was able to be certified. Thinking that some company is going to insure you for repairs on a car that they have no history or for that matter never seen is ridiculous and especially for $140 a month is laughable. $140 barely covers the price of an oil change these days. Take that money and put it in the bank and self insure. with 45 years in the auto industry I can tell you do not buy these warranties they are a scam
It's always best to put that money into a savings account instead of relying on warranties. Who needs a warranty that covers this but not that?? Once you are involved in a 3rd party, expect problems & headaches. 😡
Yeah, these spokespersons for CarShield are only in it for a paycheck. There is nothing wholesome about deadbeat actors pitching snake oil. Poor F'ers need money to pay their loans just like the working stiffs who gets suckered into buying CarShit... I mean CarShield.

I work as mechanic/service writer and I have delt with car shield And I have seen car sheild has turned down legitimate claims!!
But iced tea swears by them and he (used to be ) famous! So it must be a great product; right?
