I don't know why the local auction mart gave up with their junk sales - they used to get upwards of two thousand lots per sale, but after COVID went away, they decided not to reopen the Saturday sales.
Rolling tobacco tins have to have been , The perfect container for keeping drills , taps , dies and all manner of clips and small items from loss or damage , for Engineers thru to handymen .easily identified on the tin lid by a felt tip pen .
