This is absolutely the best chocolate cake I have ever made and tasted. It's not too sweet and that's what made it outstanding. This is the cake to make to IMPRESS!

Got here searching for a whiskey cake recipe. Glad I did. Love the fact that you go into the detail of how and why with the recipe steps.( good for us novice bakers with grand ambitions lol) Many thanks.
I made these for my mom and she loved them~ Both of us could not stop eating! I actually didn't have a pan like that and so I made them in the form of muffins and changed the temperature and time settings and they were wonderful :D
Beth, I love the way you sit down and narrate the recipe. It feels as if you're chatting with us viewers, I absolutely love it! You're giving us a valid recipe in a very casual style. This cake looks absolutely wonderful but I have one request! Can I get a slice of cake with an extra shot of whiskey on the side? LOL! Happy St Patrick's Day to you and your family!
LOl! Sure! Ha! So glad you like the videos :) This style is much easier to shoot to since I can shoot the narration, concentrating on sharing all the tips, and then after shoot the demo, and concentrate on that part too making sure I get all the shots :)

Great video Beth! Thanks for sharing with us your family stories and background. Random but I love the songs you choose for your endings, could you list the song and artist in your description? I would love to be able to purchase the music. XX
Oh sure! It's actually from a "cleared" music library for production use, but you may be able to purchase it somewhere? It's Annie Drury and the song is called "Some Day". I really like it too, she has such a pretty voice! :)

Hey Beth - I love your recipes! :) But I was wondering how do you manage to make it always look sunny in your room?
Beth what was the name of the song in your video? I really liked it.
How long do you cook the caramel after adding the heavy cream?
Hi Beth! I was just wondering if you could find the time to make a video on how to make a home made lemon meringue pie? Please
Hello and thanks for that recipe. What kind of whiskey do you use ? Bourbon, single malt, blend ? Do you think a peated whiskey could be used ?

Sure it's Annie Drury and it's called "Someday"

beth i got a question: if u stir the sugar while heating it up, wouldnt that caramelize it?
yes but it needs to also sit a bit to actually turn amber. It's a process of "sit and stir, sit and stir" :) Hope that helps! :)
it did, ty o/ love u a lot! cooking is hard, but u taught me it was beautiful ヽ(*・ω・)ノ
