Yeah, I was surprised too. It was from a US seller instead of a JP seller, though some US sellers do package them well, especially if coming from a hobby shop. Apparently, just not this person. All my experiences with boxes coming out of Japan seem like I can take a baseball bat to them and they would be able to keep shape (I'll even keep some of my larger Amiami or Solaris boxes for storage because they seem stronger than moving boxes). Oh well, at least I have new found respect for all the empty plastic space inside the figure box.
*OBVIOUS REASONS* They are really nice! I really like the body sculpts and the suit colors! I think the sword ver. would stand out more in the collection than the gun ver. Post a pic after you're done with the custom base! They are a nice pair for sure!

I will. Still debating if I want to do a 3d printed generic around base. Or maybe do a detailed foam road-like base. It should be a good June project.
