This is beautifully done. 🩷 Rabbits really are the most loving animals. Too many people misunderstand them, so they don't know how to treat them properly. I currently have a Rex - white, with black spots. - so I call her Pebbles.
I had to smile at the part about their ears, because Pebbles LOVES music, and it's fun watching her turn her ears different directions listening to it. She likes classical and progressive rock most.
When I was going through a time of deep despair, she was why I got through it. Just the presence of a rabbit in the room is comforting and calming.
I love her like I would if she was my child. She's free roam, and her favourite place is under an artificial tree in my living room.

I've had rabbits as companion animals for 25 years, and am 61 this year. My most special girl slept beside my pillow every night for 11 years. Until the day she didn't wake up. I've had others, boys and girls all of whom have made a huge impact on my life. One boy was 13 years old when he passed on. Today I have an old girl, Blueberry Storm and a very young boy, Zorro. They're all the family I need.

How do you train them to not chew on wiring?

@@jsun3117Some rabbits are attracted to wires and some aren't..I don't think you can train them not to eat wires, your walls and the corners of your couch. Rabbits instinctively like to chew and dig. There are you tube videos on how to bunny proof your home.

I like the message, but a lot of the images showed bunnies that weren’t in great condition or being housed in unsuitable environments. They should never be kept on wire flooring as it’s uncomfortable and so bad for their paws, they don’t have paw pads like cats and dogs and can get sore hocks or worse. I was horrified to see some bunnies with corn - they should never be fed corn as corn hulls are indigestible by bunnies digestive systems and the corn can cause compaction and blockage, resulting in painful death. Upsetting to see the bunny with a whole tray of grapes and other fruit, as bunnies are only meant to eat a small amount of fruit occasionally and that needs to be monitored with multiple bunnies not just served up in one big serve as there’s no portion control. Lastly, what on earth was that image of the poor bunny ear with all the big lumps on it? Not a fan of videos like these as people will see the images and think they’re okay when they’re really not.
