I wonder if he might have lived longer if he wasn't on that horrible farm to begin with. 😮 Animals in that situation often become hypervigilant. And that can do strange things to their hearts.😟
@@joannejames855 Large rabbit breeds don't live very long. Its just like how large dog breeds don't live long. Great danes for example pay for their size with shorter lifespans. That's part of why giant rabbits are sold for meat. They were breed to have a lot of it on their bones.
❤❤I'm truly sorry for your loss. Xerxes is a very beautiful and magnificent rabbit. I'm happy you rescued him and he knew you loved him, as he, you. ❤❤❤❤

Sadly rabbits live only a very short time. What a beautiful story though, he was a gorgeous rabbit and the family is adorable. They shared very special moments together, true love.
Life always ends in death. The way we spend our time and the meaning we give it is what’s important. You helped fill Xerxes’ life with so much good stuff. To pass on with a heart full of love and gladness is everything.
What a beautiful life he had, with so much love. You’re an amazing human parent. Another animal will come along when you’re ready and not a moment before then. Until then thank you for looking after Xerxes and honouring his memory 🐰❤️

Sad ending , but he had a terrific life with you. And he has left you with so many memories, better to of had him, than not at all . Bless you for giving him a dream life. ❤
Xerxes, huh? Ambitious name for a bunny, even a giant one! Sad as it is that it wasn't long before he passed, he was able to spend those last years in safety and comfort, loved, cherished, and able to see so many of the wonderful things in the world that he missed. I'm sure he'll be waiting over the Rainbow Bridge to greet the owner he undoubtably loved as much she loved him.
Oh my. So sorry he's gone. But you gave him an amazing life with loads of love and lovely days of exploration.Glad you got to spend time with him, you were a great rabbit mom and he was a sweet friend.May he rest in peace❤.

You gave him the best life he could of asked for. At least he got to die his way and not killed then sold on for food by a meat farm. Also he passed away knowing how much he was loved by you.
Xerxes was absolutely gorgeous! Does anyone know if he is what’s called a ‘Giant Flemish Rabbit’? Whatever kind of Rabbit he was, he was very beautiful. I’m so glad he found a loving home with you. I’m sure he will live on in your memories. You clearly had many great adventures together. 🌈💜 from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺
happy good news. animals are "people " too. He has feelings and personality. He can recognize love and care when he feels and sees it. That is already more than some humans can do.

I am so sorry for Xerxes loss. I understand the pain 100% and my heart hurts with you. They are so much more than pets and it doesn't matter what species. They are all family and that makes them loved ones too. There are no words that can be spoken or actions that can be taken to stop the pain, only time. We NEVER get “over it” as some people have said. We will never forget or get over their loss, we only learn to live with the pain and emptiness as time goes on. In time, you will smile when thinking of the fond memories and funny antics. I hope you can find comfort in knowing that death is NOT the end, it's the beginning for both human and animals!! large anything breeds tend to have much shorter lives I'm afraid. it's why i would never get a giant rabbit. I'd be too heartbroken.
