Agreed, however both of her final songs were amazing too. She is the real deal. She already had an EP out that I bought and the songs are really good. Looking forward to her new music, if the stupid record label will support her.

I totally agree that that was a great performance, but honestly she won even before that. I already felt she could win with her audition because of some sort of quality I can't define, but her version of Somebody That I Used to Know was legitimatey fantastic and the best non-metal cover of that song I've ever heard (and I've heard dozens lol). The moment she started singing Gotye is when she really won lol The rest was all semantics 😂
So refreshing to see a winner grow throughout the season instead of walking in with a perfect audition

Because Niall knows what he’s doing. Most judges are selfish and put their two best singers in 2 different battles so they can keep both. Niall put them together and he also knew their vocal types and ranges were compatible for stuff like this. He also knew Kala would stay on the show a little longer if he let Kelly steal her. He coached them and gave them ideas and gave them all the credit. He’s for the artists.
Yes but you could tell right when the other contestant knew she was going to loose, she suddenly tried overpower her for a moment.

What a phenomenal and beautiful tone and talent. She grew so much over the course of this season, just like Niall said she would back in the blinds. Wicked Game and Nothing Compares 2 U were both breathtakingly good and she always delivered when it counted most. Truly deserving winner this season.

Yeah. They left out New York State of mind and chronologically Nothing Compares 2 U was Gina's last performance on the finale. Also, they cut the opening of Wicked Game. Still happy that all these performances are posted together. It makes for an easier play in the car. )

@@cole7726 Maybe it's impressive to someone who cannot sing, but switching from head to chest and vice versa is not exactly the holy grail of singing. Nearly all of my students can do it and they're not exactly all Mariahs and Whitneys. Any good singer should be able to do that seamlessly. It's like saying a footballer doing a headshot is impressive. Like nah, every good footballer can do that easily.

This compilation makes it clear how amazing her performances were and how extraordinary she is as a singer. Her voice is beautiful, and with each song, Gina makes subtle artistic choices that more strongly convey the meaning of the song. She makes each song her own, telling us the story and the emotions behind it. She truly is outstanding.
After her 3rd song. I was convinced this young lady was something special. Each time she hit that stage was an improvement each & every performance. Her couch definitely did her good. I love music & very impressed with Gina as a strong artist that truly has a great passion for music with a unique voice. You all &the audience picked the right person this year. Hats off to Gina for hard work to get her the win.

“All I Want” is honestly my favorite of all her performances. In this song, she shows basically her whole range (going pretty low and then high) on top of adding an insane amount of emotion. When I heard her sing, it literally made me feel like she lost someone close to her and she was singing about the pain. And plus, the lighting and costume choices were on point for the song. I truly loved that performance

right from the audition, I knew that she would sing Nothing Compares to You! She blew all songs out the door the window and the roof!
This is the first contestant that I called the win from her first performance. I don't even know how. It just felt right. And I love how Niall was clearly overthinking how he should build his team and then "Well, actually" when he finally just goes with his gut (or heart), and look how it turned out. I think we could all learn from that and apply it in life. If you're starting to overthink, just do what feels right, and most of the time it will be.

Niall really knew how to choose songs that would make her SHINE
She did surprise me & won me over. I’m so happy she won. I was split between Gina & Noivas. They both are amazing in different ways. It was a really great season.
I like Gina but Grace had me with her old school totally country female voice. She was the best and to see Blake's eye h leam the way they did when she sang was amazing. Gina has just a distince voice that is heard on the radio today, just not so much in the USA. I am a little upset Grace did not win, but it seems that Best Voice doesn't always win.

Wicked Game - Gina Miles is so perfect it really haunts me I’ve been playing it in my head every thing I do 🥰 I’m so in love with her, this song actually gets in my dream at nights. Been dreaming her singing, it really is haunting.
I have listen to it dozens of times and it still gives me goosebumps. I personally think her performance was better than Chris Isaac's, and he wrote the song.

It's artists like Gina that make my vision impairment easier to enjoy music. Those that have good vision just close your eyes through her performance. It caries a whole new enjoyment.
