ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns as Queen of Country Reba McEntire claims her red chair alongside last season's champ, Niall Horan, and returning superstar coaches John Legend and Gwen Stefani as they vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon.
The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows.
This season, the block returns to the Blind Auditions, and during Battles, each coach will have two steals to use. The Three-Way Knockouts are also back. This time, however, artists will select their own songs to perform.
Once the Live Performance Shows begin, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast. This time, the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

I dont think it was. I wish they made these back in the beginning season 1-3 were big on 4 chair turns
OR, it's weaker. It seems as though the bar is much lower now. But maybe that's because I don't do "inclusivity" and "tolerance". Either way, it's obvious the bar is lower
Quite a few of these people are average. I can sing just as good as some of them. The Voice has kind of just fizzled out honestly

This season has its bright stars, no question, but MAN, there was really something special going on in season 24.

What I realized rewatching Jordan’s performance is that Niall and Gwen both let Reba turn first. I think that says a lot about both of the characters. They wanted Jordan to know Reba turned for “Fancy” first 😊

@@jimmalis5386 Incorrect. Yodeling and opera require the most training. If you can nail that down you can pretty much do anything.
@@samanthaDH most opera singers don't make it past battle round, it's completely different from regular singing so also yodeling: plenty who can and can't do regular singing and Ruby herself didn't win, and in general she was on level of real finalists.

Honestly. What Nini Iris does is BEYOND this show. She IS a star and I’m saying this and I just got to know her by the show. It’s unbelievable, she has everything. SHE DESERVED to be in the final
THE VOICE NEEDS A PERMANENT VEGAS SHOW AND A TOURING SHOW (like cirque) FOR ALL THE TREMENDOUS MUSICIANS TO KEEP THEIR OWN TRAIN MOVING WITHIN THE BIG MACHINE.

These talent shows show how many incredibly talented singers there are. Way more than will ever become successful recording artists, but at least they have a chance to be heard. They are amazing.

I recognized Mara Justine almost immediately. I remember her from AGT years ago when she was just a child. Phenomenal singer even then.
I've been looking forward to Ryan Gallagher coming back and starting an All-Star season!

The competition this season is CRAZY and this is a HUGE understatement! It's gonna be so tough because there is MAD talent this year. I can't wait to see who the finalists are and who wins the whole enchilada! Way to go contestants! You're all SUPER FABULOUS! ❤

Some amazing singers and the song choices are some of my favorites.
I’ve never had this happen before, but when Ephraim Owens moved out of the intro and let his voice out, I had a feeling that brought tears to my eyes, and I caught my breath. What is that feeling called??? Wonder?? But also something that makes you feel your mortality and joy for your beating heart all at once. It was the craziest thing. I listened to it again but man when it catches you the first time it’s so pure.
Kylie is Amazing. Laura, Rudi, Chechi great voices. Mac is amazing. Jackie is hilarious with a powerful voice. Nini is incredible, the best rendition of "Red" that I heard. Jarae has a loveable rasp backed by a strong confident vocals, would love to hear her sing something like "sweet valentine" or "holding back the years". Caleb is Amazing. Huntley: a strong voice, would love to hear him cover "Lady". Last but not least is Dylan, beautiful voice..
Kaylee, Chechi and Lila deserved to go further in the competition

Blocking is so unfair to the singer. Its prevents them from a full choice and the one blocked may have been who their first choice would have been and who they feel would have been the best coach for them.

Strong voices, but barely a modern song sung, feels like the same voice and performers every year in America. Gina Miles was different, but Norway, Australia and the Netherlands throw up more interesting song choices and voices.
