ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns as Queen of Country Reba McEntire claims her red chair alongside last season's champ, Niall Horan, and returning superstar coaches John Legend and Gwen Stefani as they vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon.
The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows.
This season, the block returns to the Blind Auditions, and during Battles, each coach will have two steals to use. The Three-Way Knockouts are also back. This time, however, artists will select their own songs to perform.
Once the Live Performance Shows begin, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast. This time, the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

You've got to be kidding. She's a damn good singer but NOT Broadway material. She's all over the place with her mood from line to line of the lyrics. One line she's gentle and evokes a soft, dreamy mood and the next she's aching to belt it out like a saloon singer and the next she wants to show off with vocal acrobatics. This is NOT a mature voiced singer.
@mrfester42 This is the Voice, so she’s trying to show off the diversity of her voice, not play a character that is consistently sounding the same. She’s also a literal 13 year old, so she has time to develop her vocal capabilities still.
Aww, Gwen rescued her with a hug right when she needed it - such a good mom. She was having an emotional attack. How overwhelming this would be for a 13 year old. ❤
Her vibrato sounded much more developed than anything a thirteen year old could do... I'm impressed. :)

She’s 13?! Holy cow! She already can do so many things with her voice. She has great range, tone, and runs. If she gets a little more control with her nerves, she can do really well! She’s already really amazing, but imagine 5 years from now holy cow, and she’d only be 18 then.

What I really like about her, are her choices in phrasing & note selection. Some very unique picks for someone her age. A lot to work with there. I see her going pretty deep in this competition.

I am so glad Nial choose in terms of voice tone. I see maximum judges choose on the basis of technique and high note. But a voice tone like this girl it make people more connected to song. It is so clean in pronunciation too.
