Deja vu moment..going back in time 54 years this feels like the video of the original much anticipated Ed Sullivan telecast in 1970. Maybe not this exact one..how could I remember but it has that swirly memory inducing feeling. I remember vividly though being so disappointed for a few moments of this being a tape and not a live Beatles performance. Still, loved it though.
This is the next best guitar solo that’s closest to the Album version imo. Extremely melodic. And it doesn’t have a flanger effect on it which doesn’t dampen the solo
And to think that John Lennon considered Let it be a real drag... It would have become one of the most famous songs of the Beatles. They were the most brilliant band of all time! The title that gives its name to the homonymous album would later go down in history as the testament of the Fab4. This version is simply fantastic with the variation of the text of the second part and also with some nice out of tune notes but which still fades into the background considering the emotionality of the interpretation. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🤍
Good question! Actually, we should know what he was referring to... but I think it will remain a mystery in the end. The only thing that is certain is that John Lennon considered Let it be a real drag... It would have become one of the most famous songs of the Beatles.
The first ever version of let it be I listened to the best version with that guitar solo 👏👏👏
This is so beautiful - the emotion in his eyes 😍❤🥰

You are absolutely right!
This what i find for the raw vocal of john
I will suppose to get it in the solo...
But why did john said ‘’don’t say that word’’???
Good question!

I always preferred this version over the overproduced Phil Spector version.
He should have let it be
Who plays the guitar solo on this one?
The one and only George Harrison
George Harrison Peace & Love
