Thanks for the review! Not many reviews out on the non-comped Macro. I've been carrying the G19 & G45 for the past several years, but have been wanting something less chunky and more ergonomic than a 2x4. I really wanted to like the XL, but went with the non-comped Macro instead for concealed carry. I'm 6'3" 195lbs and have medium to large hands. The Macro filled my hands perfectly. It felt like the grip was molded from my hand. Even though the placement and shape of the mag release looks the same on both pistols, I'm able to manipulate the release on the Macro without turning the gun or breaking my grip. Another difference, that you didn't mention, was the 1913 pic rail on the macro, versus the XL. The Macro is smaller, thinner, holds two more rounds, and fits my hands better than the G19.
I owned the original P365, bought the XL grip. Good and solid set up. When I handled the the Macro non compd version. I instantly fell in love with it. It replaced my 4" S&W Performance Cntr Shield Plus. I put a Holosun EPS green dot on it and pit 300 rnds through it. Not a single hiccup and just love the Macro.
I considered the X Macro, but for carry in warm weather I opted for the Wilson XL grip module on my P 365. For concealed in winter I went with a P 320 X Carry Spectre RXP, with the Wilson grip, which is also my nightstand gun. Lots of great options for buyers.
I bougt the uncomped Macro and I love it. Easy to shoot. I think the trigger is great. Clean break, short reset. The grip is.perfect for me. Printinh hasnt been a problem for me. Its great and 150 less than the comped version. Id recomment it to anyone looking for a high capacity edc. I have a glock 43x for when I dont wear a belt but Im thinking of grabbing a standard p365.
I've had mine now for about a week the macro x 300 rounds out of it so far absolutely love it I'm a first gun owner though so I can't really compare it to nothing but I do love it so addicting so fun and you just want to be ready just in case but it is true the magazines are not cheap I just ordered one and it was $59 but by the time yet shipping and tax it was like 70 but that's fine I will deal with that absolutely love the gun
Glad you got the normal XMacro with the manual safety. Starting to think I was the first and only one who had it lol. I love mine. Getting a holster for it at first was a mess cause the COMP came out first.
Note on what I said. If you’re like me and looking for a good holster that accommodates the safety for the xmacro, try Tulster. All theirs do. I have the Tulster OATH and Contour.
To each their own I suppose. Great review. However, I held the XL and the Macro and immediately I liked the Macro more. I wear a Medium-Large sized glove, and the Macro just felt so much better. The large back strap was much better for length of pull/where my finger tip sits on the trigger. Otherwise the 3 of them felt pretty similar. Haven’t carried it yet so we’ll see how it prints. I’m 5’9” 160lbs and don’t wear baggy clothes. Usually shorts and a tshirt. Currently carrying the regular 365 with 12rd mag, which is basically the same as the X/XL grip. Felt great initially years ago but just feels small shooting at the range.
I ordered the macro grip module and 17 round mags and ended up staying with the XL like you suggested. Not sure if it was the backstraps or what but the Macro grip is pretty blocky and not nearly as comfortable to shoot at the XL frame. Hopefully Wilson will help solve this in the future.
Try the small back strap, I just swapped mine to the small after trying out the large for a bit (which definitely feels different). With the small on, it still feels "different" but it feels really good in my hand.
I bought the X Macro comp when it came out. I want to sell it for the regular. I like the comp and it works for what it is intended to do. But i prefer barrel length. I tend to not love 3.1 inch barrels vs the 3.7 or the 4.1 in my Glock 19. If i can sell it for a good return i would buy the Tacop’s to get the 4 magazines. Still trying to get more accurate with it, as i shoot far better with my Glock 19 and even 43X which surprised me cause it’s barrel is only 3.4. Overall the 365 lineup is strong and while i can not recommend it over Glock. It is a nice addition to add to it.
The 1913 rail on the macro means u are gonna have a much larger selection of lights to choose from.. I think the tacops version is by far the best 365 because u get the options and the extra mags.. Sig really needs to consider being a little more generous with their mags
Agreed, particularly just out of the box. I've had an XL for a couple years, am about 2k rounds in. The trigger has improved quite a lot -- not crisp, but getting there.
I’ve been hearing complaints about rusting. Any thoughts on this? And this is likely to be my first gun and I’m wondering what y’all’s thoughts are about shooting it first or just buying it without having shot it first. Should I buy it outright or shoot it first. I’ve already held it and it’s literally perfectly fitting for my hand and feels amazing. I was considering looking at the comp but sounds like the comp isn’t anything special….
In terms of concealability the grip is the part of the pistol that prints the most so will not be ideal for conceal carry…This is like putting a Glock 17 grip with the 17 rounder on a Glock 26 … so the barrel is short but the grip is huge …. Buy a Glock 26 instead and you can insert a 15 round mag from the g 19 … or a 17 rounder from the g 17 or a 33 rounder as the need arises
I carry the 365 Tacops without any printing. You should not have printing if you wear a proper shirt that is not too tight. Regardless not everyone sees printing
This is a really short sighted hot take. People come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and dress in a plethora of different ways. So just because YOU can’t conceal an x macro doesn’t mean it’s not ideal for concealed carry. There are people that edc a glock 34/45/17 and don’t have any issues. In addition most people are not paying enough attention to one another to notice any moderate printing anyway. And even if they could, who actually cares as long as you’re carrying legally it’s a non issue.
I'm new to the gun world so I can't understand why nobody in guns can say etcetera or capacity. Yes I'm one of those people, lmao. I can't help it. The only other thing that bugs me more is that so many people can't say nuclear. It's not nucular. btw I love this 365. Can't find 10rd compliant magazines for the leftist state I live in though. Sig says they are coming soon. Yes I know about the limiters.
GLOCK is also riding on their name and has failed to be innovative since the 80’s. Reliable? Absolutely, Perfection? Absolutely not. But it’s a damn good platform for all new shooters even the most advanced. But there are far better options in todays market.
Idk man at a lot of gun stores when I ask what’s the best seller, the p365 series gets a lot of love. But I’ll admit so does the glock 43x. Glock just bores me at this point. Traded my 19 in towards a shadow systems like a month ago
I have 4 Glocks and the P365 Xmacro. I prefer the Glock in reliability, i am more accurate it with but that could be due to shooting it more from owning them longer. X-macro comp is nice. They have had rust issues on the slide and magazines from carrying in the summer heat and that concerns me, but when i hear someone say Glock is boring or don’t look as cool, that is like saying i buy a tool cause it looks cool in the store. Does it work? Sometimes. Glock works all the time, any ammo, clean or dirty. If we buy these to trust our lives too, i am shocked at people saying sure Glocks are reliable but don’t look cool.

I love my 365 X Macro tacops. It’s one of my favorite pistols! I have a video comparing it to a Glock 48 👍🏻
Welcome back!
Excellent presentation! Thank you!!
Good thorough review……👊🏻 Thanks!

I recently bought the 365 Tacops for $695 that came with 4 mags plus Sig is also sending 3 free mags with a promotion they now have.
@@AsidebarI just bought your exact gun with 4 mags as well but never heard about the Sig deal for 3 more mags. Do you have to contact Sig themselves?
I bought macro grip for home defense for pic rail for my light. 💪🏼

I like mine but that fullsize grip which makes it comfortable to shoot makes it G17 or VP9 size to EDC.
Going to order a XL frame for mine.

The safety is what I wanted
I have the rimfire P322. Which of these centerfire pistols would be closest to my pistol?
I'm a recent owner of the x macro, but i thought they didn't come with manual safety, or is that the tac ops version? 😂
X Macro does come in a manual safety model. -MS in the skew code
@@mike_adams dang it. We bought the last one they had and no ms.
Safeties only make it safer for the bad guy.
Are there any iwb holsters on the model with the manual safety?

xmacro for me

Agreed, that’s why I have the P365 standard with the xl module and the 12 shot mag. Balancing capacity with carry ability, with concealment.

True, but the 26 can be harder to draw with its smaller grip:
Glock 19 all time best selling handgun ever in the USA, just saying the truth
