Our guildmate Swiper, Adam in real life, and his family were among those hit hardest by the flooding after the hurricane moved inland. His small mountain town in eastern Tennessee was devastated, with homes and land destroyed and power potentially out for months.
Swiper's incredibly kind, caring, a lover of animals and an awesome dad. Over the years, we've shared our lives, from learning about his pet raccoons and shining to cheering for his kids' baseball and football teams against the city kids.
While nothing can truly replace what was destroyed, we want to help Swiper and his family start to get back on their feet and show that our community is not just based on a game, but on foundational friendships in life.
