Don't let the exhaust scare ya, my old man would make Artcic-Poos, Ski-Cats and tons of other Frankensleds. The amount of cans I saw get hacked, reshaped or repurposed was enough to give a fella ideas for life on how to make stuff work🤙
Worked at a place driving mini buses and there was a 1986 Chevy that had the grill break out so we made a old Ford Ranger grill fit just to make it look better and then we called it a Chevord.
Me and my dad were gonna take a 1980s ski doo and put like a 2015 arctic cat 450cc engine and it’s track on it but the track was too wide and we got rid of them before we could get to it because we were gonna wait the year out and do it next fall but they were gone and there wasn’t snow that year
I got a running 97 AC EXT 600 triple for $400. Had a gallon of water in the gas tank, disgusting carbs, and a couple loose nuts/bolts. But she cleaned up nice, runs strong, and lifts the skis on every pull.
Dude you scored a 10 in my opinion! I have a 583 mxz i payed 500 for that had a faulty gas cap and only water in tank and carbs. A quick cleaning and boom weve got a minty running sled! Allways love to see great deals...btw. he knew it wasnt running before he talked to you i think
A lot of times it is simple things that fixes these machines. Sometimes I have seen throttle cable being loose. I also tell people to buy low mileage machines from people in a city that don’t ride a lot. We can ride to mountains or flatland trails right from our house.
Have a 2000 Ski Doo MXZ 600 that I got for free from my friend. Very good condition, but I had an issue with it when it started blowing the headlamp bulbs (Low beams would blow, but high beams would be fine). Replaced the voltage regulator and it solved the issue. They're great snowmobiles.
Nice deal. I bought an ‘89 Yamaha Phazer with 1750 miles, same issue. Absolute cream puff. Found the coil had a spliced wire. Re-did the connection and BINGO.
Just bought a 00 mxz 700 that was "locked up". Drove home and it was not locked anymore. I think it bouncing on trailer freed it up. Upon further investigation the oil line that hooks to the pump was melted and oil leaked out. I replaced the line and it has great compression and runs excellent. I couldn't believe my luck.
I don't however agree with this guy and other YTers filming the buying process. I think it influences the haggling process and puts the seller in an awkward position. I've watched this dude, 2vintage (punk kid) etc film a buy and it's cringe. Yes, they agree to it. I bet they regret it shortly after.
If you want to take a trip to Mass right now there is a ski doo 583 with reverse that runs on fluid for $150 on marketplace. About an hour 30 away from me, I just don’t have time to take a ride.
I have Been watching you for 5 years.I remember so many great videos with that 700.I will admit I have not been subscribed to you for 5 years because I did not have an account. Keep up the good work
Gotta give you an 11 because I was sure it wasn't going to be the regulator but in hindsight it makes sense because assuming it's shorted out, that prevented the MPEM from getting power.
Love it. I just picked up a 97 mxz670 on auction for $200 a few weeks ago. Had to rebuild the recoil and it pulls really really hard. I was told they all do! So I put in some fresh gogo juice. Third pull she was rumbling and purring. It was smoking like the devils boxers but settled down soon enough. But go figure. February in the northeast and the snow just melted away!!! Ugh
Replace all the bulbs now before the regulator gets burned up again! They need to see some electrical load! This sled has great bones, even some Rez rear shocks! I think you should do a full restore on this sled and make it look brand new. Would be a great change for your channel. Where this sled is so nice it won’t cost a lot just elbow grease !
A lot of people don't know how things work, 20 years ago I pulled a $1500 computer out of the trash and fixed it with $5 heatsink paste. my friends small one cylinder engine on a bicycle needed a magneto, snowmobile my issue was the voltage regulator as well as starter solenoid. Feel like if its electrical people don't know what to do.
'Score' as someone who grew up riding Sleds. I can certainly appreciate a good find. Unfortunately where I live. We just don't get enough Snow to ride. Sleds cost Money & two weeks out of the Year, just isn't worth it.
Take the voltage regulator that you took out of the MXZ 600 you got for 400 bucks put it in the oven at 350 for 10 minutes just enough to get it hot and I bet you if you put it back in the sled it will work again the epoxy breaks around the edges and let's moisture in them saved a lot cdi's this way cheers
My best deal was last year I bought a non running 2005 gsx 600 with 500 miles on it and a mint 2005 panther 570 and a enclosed 2 place for a total of 3700 last year. Sold the gsx for 3900 and the trailer for 4k and the panther for 2500. Made out like a bandit and I ended up buying a brand new 8.5 x 24 vnose enclosed trailer for 11k with that money and i was offered 20k for it the other day best deal ever.
crazy how a $50ish part cost that guy $600 lol, nice find! i got a 97 yamaha vmax 600 xlt for $200 because the guy was in the same situation, the kill switch was stuck on and gave no spark, ez fix!
Please... don't stop doing what your doing man👍👍👍 keep your faith keep grinding, Great things will come✝️ much love from your fellow motor loving brother😎
I love these sleds I have a 99 MXZ 700 looks just like your black one it's very reliable looking for an exhaust like what's on that yellow one you just got where's the best place to get one
New subscriber , Iv'e seen a few of your videos , but just picked up a 96 mxz 583 for our kid , runs perfect but has these nasty I think ice cleats on the skis , things are like 6" long by 4" high .. dig in to everything , but 1,000 witch is dam good for the shape and covid pricing
Found a 1988 Chevy 1500 for $500 v6 154,000 miles on it they couldn’t get it to run changed fuel filter and it ran like a champ for six years all the way up to 370,000 miles before tranny and motor let go
Wdym figure the exhaust out like put a stock one in or find out the brand of the aftermarket one cause personally I love the sound of that aftermarket one
I want to hear your best facebook marketplace (or craigslist) deals in the comments!! I'll choose the best.
A brand 2007 new yamaha apex for 1500$ and it runs pretty good
I Traded a yz85 for a ktm250sx (both 2 stroke dirtbikes)
I sold a 92 klr 650 on Craigslist list for 750, I bought it for 900 and I owned it for 16 years
bought a yamaha dt from a buddy for 180bucks and sold it a week later without a dollar spent on it for 900 bucks
Bought a 2003 Ski doo 1000 GT four stroke sled last year! 6,200 miles for $1000 🎉
Don't let the exhaust scare ya, my old man would make Artcic-Poos, Ski-Cats and tons of other Frankensleds. The amount of cans I saw get hacked, reshaped or repurposed was enough to give a fella ideas for life on how to make stuff work🤙

It's arctic. Not artic, maybe If you're like 3 or 4 yes old ok.. but cmon
Me and my dad were gonna take a 1980s ski doo and put like a 2015 arctic cat 450cc engine and it’s track on it but the track was too wide and we got rid of them before we could get to it because we were gonna wait the year out and do it next fall but they were gone and there wasn’t snow that year
I learn a lot just from watching you fix sleds.
I could watch these all day
I got a running 97 AC EXT 600 triple for $400. Had a gallon of water in the gas tank, disgusting carbs, and a couple loose nuts/bolts. But she cleaned up nice, runs strong, and lifts the skis on every pull.

I bought an “01 thundercat for 800$ he told me the engine was seized, went home put new batteries spark plugs in it and she fired right up😂😂
A lot of times it is simple things that fixes these machines. Sometimes I have seen throttle cable being loose. I also tell people to buy low mileage machines from people in a city that don’t ride a lot. We can ride to mountains or flatland trails right from our house.
Gotta love seeing Jeremy so happy👌

That was an absolute steal. And don't do anything with the exhaust it sounds amazing👌👍
Nice deal. I bought an ‘89 Yamaha Phazer with 1750 miles, same issue. Absolute cream puff. Found the coil had a spliced wire. Re-did the connection and BINGO.
Am I the only one who loves what you are doing with the channel Now. Very interesting and good pace.
That's awesome. My dad and I got an artic cat for 400 bucks and it just needed a carb clean
Awesome sled and great find for that price! Let’s see a riding video with it now!!
Jeremy I think your negotiation skills saved you, even if you didnt get it running you couldve easily parted it out for sure.
I don't however agree with this guy and other YTers filming the buying process. I think it influences the haggling process and puts the seller in an awkward position. I've watched this dude, 2vintage (punk kid) etc film a buy and it's cringe.

That's a mbrp silencer good brand I'm sure it's gonna be super loud
I have Been watching you for 5 years.I remember so many great videos with that 700.I will admit I have not been subscribed to you for 5 years because I did not have an account. Keep up the good work
That can is a MBRP race can! Had one, they didnt stamp on their old cans, but its infact an mbrp can
Nice sleuthing with the electrical gremlins! Nice when you have spare parts that you can swap with on the spot. P.S. that looks like an MBRP can.
Gotta give you an 11 because I was sure it wasn't going to be the regulator but in hindsight it makes sense because assuming it's shorted out, that prevented the MPEM from getting power.

But go figure. February in the northeast and the snow just melted away!!! Ugh
I bought a 2010 Polaris IQ 800 for 500$ with no compression on mag cylinder. Have it up and running for a cost to me of 300$. So total cost 800.00
Damn, that's a good deal. Some people only have deep pockets and would rather buy new when something goes wrong. Their loss.....your gain
U should totally do a revival video on ur mxz 700 I bet all the people would love to see that and bring the ol girl back to her former glory
That aftermarket can sounds GOOD! Nice crackle & rumble. I was hoping you show us a quick test ride, crack the throttle & let her scream
That was a steal for the price and extras that came with it.
Yes he is back!!!!!!!!!!!! Missed this channel
I always click when I see Jeremy upload a new video. Much love brother 🙏 need to come to Michigan and ride the trails 1 day
Definitely 10 out of 10!! Nice find, good job 👍🏻
I had to clean my carburetor in my sled and I got it running about 2 weeks ago and I went for one rip and now we have no snow. This winter sucks
Seems like a 10 to me man. I would imagine that there are a lot of sleds that have died an early death from such simple issues.
Great job can’t wait to see you riding it.
That can is a mbrp race can, I had the same on mine, in that time they didn’t stamp them
Good price for that sled. Lots of parts available for these sleds! I Just restored a 2002 mxz 600 and they awesome sleds.
Man I've been watching you for a long time now. Since you were riding the mxz 700. Happy you got a steal of a deal and have a great day. 👍
Fellow vermonter here! Maybe when we get snow you could set a ride up would love to do a meet and great/riding day!
'Score' as someone who grew up riding Sleds. I can certainly appreciate a good find. Unfortunately where I live. We just don't get enough Snow to ride. Sleds cost Money & two weeks out of the Year, just isn't worth it.
In my area we don’t get too much snow so running snowmobiles are like 250 bucks. We get enough snow that they’re still fun a few months a year
Just got a 98 Polaris sportsman 500 for 500$ new carburetor, fuel pump, battery and voltage regulator shes good as new !!
It’s my favorite snowmobile I’ll been looking for one for a long time now
That exhaust is fine sounds great like that
Great video and communication 10
In Michigan that deal is a 10! Keep it up bro !!

10 can't beat that deal man. Love it. Nice sled.
9.5 what a deal. That sled looks mint
I loved the og mxz 700 miss the old girl. Would love to see a late 90s arctic cat zl 500/600/700
crazy how a $50ish part cost that guy $600 lol, nice find! i got a 97 yamaha vmax 600 xlt for $200 because the guy was in the same situation, the kill switch was stuck on and gave no spark, ez fix!
I would give it 6, I would have given it 9 but it's a skidoo. I bought a 95 580ext mountain cat for 125.00 fixed the fuel pump for free. Ran great.
Good deal! I live in Ontario, Canada and non running sleds go for $1000 + here!
I live in ontario too and it’s so infuriating seeing a sled for sale for 1500 and u read description and it’s blown and bent
Awesome deal definitely a 10 Happy New Year thank you for all your great videos and hopefully many more to come
that's such a good deal! love the older MXZs so glad you got one!
Looks really clean in grate shape id like to see it go up against my 1998 yamaha vmax xtc 700 triple
Thats a steal jeremy!! Hope to see you ride it soon!
The rotax 600/700 are such good engines.
FYI it wasn’t your voltage regulator it was a bad connection at the main plug
Great find! Great youngster sled for some teen.
I traded 2 tons of wood pellets for a 98 pantera triple 800cc 2up
I would love to see a 94 1st gen summit on this channel
Up here in where I'm at in Canada that's 1200 sled not running just for parts hell of a deal
10/10 love the new edition to the sled collection
Please... don't stop doing what your doing man👍👍👍 keep your faith keep grinding, Great things will come✝️ much love from your fellow motor loving brother😎
I love these sleds I have a 99 MXZ 700 looks just like your black one it's very reliable looking for an exhaust like what's on that yellow one you just got where's the best place to get one
Watching this makes me miss my 01 mxz 700
I love watching your video and learn so much.
I doing the same thing they are crazy excited but I'll do anything for a sled like that
New subscriber , Iv'e seen a few of your videos , but just picked up a 96 mxz 583 for our kid , runs perfect but has these nasty I think ice cleats on the skis , things are like 6" long by 4" high .. dig in to everything , but 1,000 witch is dam good for the shape and covid pricing
Love the sled absolutely beautiful and having 3 mxz is amazing, keep all of them !!
Well done!! Love these older MXZs
Exhaust sounds awesome
My boyfriend and I love your snowmobile video
Good troubleshooting and great deal for 400!
10.. You really make me miss living in Maine.
98 arctic cat zl 500 5300 miles, $250 needed new carbs and clutch
Keep the can! It was made for it sounds good 👍
Found a 1988 Chevy 1500 for $500 v6 154,000 miles on it they couldn’t get it to run changed fuel filter and it ran like a champ for six years all the way up to 370,000 miles before tranny and motor let go
I have the same can no stamp. It's a MBRP race can. Good can. I don't know why they didn't stamp them.
Great score! Leave the exhaust it's fine and it sounds good 👍
I miss that black MXZ
I’m not kidding I learned a ton from this video
where do you find all of these sleds in the woods? and its 10/10 for sure
Looks like a sno stuff rumble pack I'd leave it on there sounds good
The only difference with the 1999s vs newer zx chassi ski doos is the engine castings an bolt sizes .
Love my 2002 mxz's. 700 and 600.
Hello I love ur videos keep em coming
Guy had no idea who he was dealing with
Love the videos and you should do a sled tour
I just got one as well a 2000 MXZ ski doo 500 only payed $450
If it has a teither switch check that
That’s a steal you got that sled for. Great deal
Jeremy, where did you learn how to work on snowmobiles and do you recommend trade schools like universal technical institute?
Been looking for something like that since we sold our 2000 and 2001 models in 2005 do to a move. The prices are absurd for over 20 yr. old sleds!
I need more videos of the viper🙏🏻🙏🏻
Wdym figure the exhaust out like put a stock one in or find out the brand of the aftermarket one cause personally I love the sound of that aftermarket one
Great vid man! But that poor 700, if your crank wasn’t shot before it is now😭
you need to put that can on ur 700 mxz when you get it running that can sounds rowdy
Pays 400 for it, gets it running in 20 minutes with a $20 part and makes 2k from the video. :P Man I hope that guy doesn't see this video! lol
