The Twin Otter.........Any flight on a Twin Otter, floats or wheels, is going to take you to some awesome location that other people rarely get to. My rides have been to remote lakes in northern Saskatchewan.
I think I have died and gone to Maldivian heaven. Look at how blue that sea is and the aqua lagoons and white sands, breathtaking. Great video once again from the Stephen Spielberg of the skies xx

It always makes me sigh when you have all the wonderful things to see and experience and you see people still staring at their phones. What a wonderful travel experience, put the phone away unless you are taking pictures.
Fun fact: That oscillating kind of “womp womp womp” you hear a bit before 5 minutes is the propellers being at slightly different speeds. You’ll notice it gets slower and slower. That is the pilot adjusting the prop lever slowly so they are spinning at exactly the same rpm (less annoying for passengers). He does this by ear, not by looking at the gauges.

Had to take a small aircraft from Miami to Marathon, FL (the Florida Keys) and I too am a white knuckle flyer. But that was one awesome view of the Florida Keys.
Been there once and it truly was paradise. I love the twin otters, but it was so loud it kinda popped my eardrums a little, even with ear muffs. The video reminds me of the greatest time of my life, I subbed. The background music is lovely, very nostalgic. I can't wait to go back! Thank you so much for this!

I find it difficult to express a definition for the term luxury. When we sleep, no matter where, we forget all the luxuries. And as we sleep, if our dream is about a nightmare that cannot take us to any luxury, then what is good of having all the luxuries? In a liberated state of mind i can find all the luxuries.
You must be a philosopher...😊 Just like our surroundings can affect the way we feel, the same thing happens the other way round. Also, no luxuries can impress someone who is miserable to the bone. And with someone who is entirely happy and fulfilled, no miseries can affect their state of mind... How does that sound to you? 😊.
Would love to see these aircraft log books. I would be willing to guess they are operating these planes with LOTS of high time maintenance items due. (25 year airline mechanic)
Veligandu Island is THE most stunning place on Earth, I have been lucky enought to go there twice - by seaplane transfer - it is EXACTLY as shown. People, you have GOT to tick this box in life.

The Twin Otter is a very safe and proven aircraft, they are used in very dangerous areas of the planet, one of them is Kathmandu to Lukla which is the starting point of the trip to basecamp at the foot of Mt Everest.

I've done the seaplane flight in the Maldives but to a different resort; it was breathtakingly beautiful; a wonderful experience.
