Do you use f2 or f4 lenses for Milky Way? If f4 how does it perform?

I use an f1.8 now for Milky Way, but have used f4 before. The images are either a bit too dark or very noisy when using f4. I highly recommend at least f2.8 for Milky Way, but better yet a 1.8. I use a 20mm f1.8 now.

How do you feel about mirrorless cameras?
