    I think the move to Walmart for sports card outlet is a great thing. As long as it catering more to getting the cards (hobby) into the kids hands. Walmart is the biggest chain store in America, so using that to expand the hobby is great. As an "investor" as you guys are somewhat, I understand the worry of an avalanche of product.... However, the print run and so on, on all the cards is not changing, so the value of those said cards will not go down... if anything it could make the prices higher on those type of cards. Another great video. Thanks guys. Just a few things
    1. Wal-mart - no thanks, as much as I would like a more compeitition for eBay Wal-Mart represents everything that is wrong with corporate America. I might be showing my age, but I remember when Wal-mart's big advertising gimmick was to buy products made in the US. Boy, how that has changed.
    2. PSA Grading notes - I like the idea, but comes as now surprise that PSA has contractrating stances on whether you can share the notes or not. I guess I don't know how PSA can stop the person that owns the card from sharing the notes
    3. Grading vending machines - I don't mind this concept, but I would call it more like a blind bad than a re-pack. Re--packs to me are opened all at the same time and you have an idea what the big hits. Some transparency than a blind bag which usually just guanatees you an auto, mem, or graded card.

    What do you guys think of TAG and how they do their grading? I’ve graded a couple cards with them and I liked the service. I also like that it creates a standard with the cards graded as well, less nuance. I feel if PSA is going to go this route on notes then they’re taking a step into some sort of automation in the future. What would the notes have been for that 6 turned into a 10 and which grader was correct? Feels like there’s still a human aspect to something that doesn’t need it.

      @@rschreck97 Removing the subjectivity from grading seems to be the right way to go, and maybe TAG is the future, but for value-reasons and resale purposes, there is no reason to go away from PSA 🤷🏻‍♂️ . • @Eliteco3
    @Eliteco3 3 месяца назад +3

    On the surface I would say graders notes are a good thing if they are in the right companies hands. From my almost 15 years of sending bulk orders to PSA their consistency is at an all time low. In my opinion they grew too fast and inexperienced graders are on the floor now to get more cards slabbed.
    This could be a messy situation from the standpoint of what Jeff said with people snapping out serial numbered cards and getting different notes etc. Cool idea but to get the notes you have to use premium services so its probably another money grab by PSA

Something you look back and be like, 'that was worth it, i had fun, i dont feel taken advantage of'. I started selling them for 9.99$ and flat 2.99$ shipping (for any qty) and to this day, they are still 9.99 with flat 2.99 shipping. The problem with these big companies is they're goal is to scam, squeeze, trick you in to as much money as possible, rather that creating a product that people want. They said for PSA 9 "top right corner" and for the other one I sent they said "corner chipping" so it's really blunt and to the point, at least for corner flaws and seems like each grader might have different way of saying the same thing. Maybe PSA should only grade numbered cards and that Topps should start using a QR coded system for their rare cards(low numbered cards and autographed cards)that they put in hobby boxes, jumbo boxes, blasters, hanger boxes, etc. And so when someone pulls a rare card and decides to send it to get graded, PSA could take note of the information within the QR code and implement it into the PSA website, so that no one else can try to have it regraded if the card that happened to be previously graded received a lower grade.
