If I could revive someone dead... the first choice would be Steve Clark, no doubt... I miss him...
i would choose him in a heartbeat
Agreed. It still hurts. His story just had the wrong damn ending.
Amen
I agree 1000%
This. ❤
2:23 this was when they first started...Steve plays like a professional. I found an article about Steve by Peter Mench, he stated when he first saw Steve perform, "he stuck out from the others because he played like a professional."
He possessed mind-blowing brilliance and genius. Absolute angel. Forever miss you Steve 💔
He was absolutely mesmerizing to watch! There was no one before him, no one after him who could do what he did on stage. Period. RIP, Steve.
"DEF" born to play live. The live version of "Hunter' from the "Round" dvd.. his improvs to the original recording are... just... insane. Where Steve remained silent in life, he spoke thru his guitar, and that alone is a feat in and of itself. To be able to take what you're feeling emotionally and translate that thru song, is something I hope I'll ever be 1/2 as good as he was.
Smh
Thank you Steve for being the inspiration for my wanting to learn electric guitar. Forever indebted, Sir.
His showmanship was 2nd to none and he is sorely missed.
It’s hard to believe he’s been gone as long as he was alive. 🔥
Still miss that 'Steve spin'. Viv was right to say that Steve was born to play live...
He is a truly amazing and the best guitarist around. He had skills and talent. I do not think any guitarist could play like him or do what he did. He unleashed that inner rock star and amplified it. No one can compare. May he rest in peace.😢 God Bless you Steve. 🤗😊💛❤
makes me wanna cry bc he's so handsome!! 🥴
😊🤭🤭😭😭❤. The masterrs
I know! He was beautiful 😍
Steve "Steamin" Clark....That dude wrote so many amazing riffs on their earlier records.
What can i say....he's a legend. No one will ever come close to Steve's extraordinary talent's. His stage presence was so breathtaking to watch, the way he played with the guitar slug down so low, spinning around and playing it above his head!! No one can ever compare or replicate it.....it was his signature! I will forever love him. I can't believe he's been gone for 31 years. What a tragic day, my ❤ still is broken! Def Leppard was never the same; but how could they ever be that great again without Steve Clark!!!! They were great, all of them together.....that was the magic potion! Never to be that again with Steve gone. I know they had to go on....and I have remained a fan, but the truth is that they have never measured up to when they were all together ....Steve, Joe, Phill,Sav and Rick! That was magic!!!! That was " Rock of Ages!" I look at video footage of Steve all the time......so sad he's gone. I will be a fan forever!
Our beautiful Steve! I love watching him perform on tours, he was SO HAPPY!😊
Steve clarck the true guitar idol,,his style inspiring me to play guitar lower strap style...😇😇
Yeah...the proper rock n roller style of strapping a guitar...RIP Steamin'
Greatest Guitarist , the Best ! ShowMan Ever ... *Here's To You Steven Maynard Clark !!" 💘💞💌💎
"JUST THE Most UNIQUE - Guitarist !! That EVER Lived 🎼🎼🎤🎤🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸📣
He is mesmerizing to watch. I wish they would have shown him more in footage and videos. He played the guitar so low I always thought it looked like it would be uncomfortable as tall as he looks like he was.
Just seeing this. Steve was a fantastic guitarist and a great showman. Always my favorite and I can never take my eyes off him when he is playing. This is a great compilation of his greatest moves!
steve is also my favourite, you just cant NOT love the guy and all his work. i’m glad you enjoyed the video!
He was incredible on stage, his moves were as great as his guitar playing!! RIP Steve
Forever a Legend
Godspeed Steve 🙏 🙏
Never realised how low Steve had his guitar.
Yeah, he was a huge Page fan and emulated his look quite a bit including a low slung guitar. RIP Steve. Forever missed.
@@LB-br8hn i could see Page and Robbo Robertson style in his playing, clothes he wore on stage. He embodied rock n roll guitar hero perfectly
I've heard Joe say that Steve wore his guitar 3 notches too low which made him play differently, but that was the magic. Viv is great, but there was only one Steve.
Long arms needed the guitar & straps longer ❤
@@peredes1962abijah Joe always said Steve wore his guitar three notches too low, and it made him play in a funny way. He said Steve's playing coupled with Phil's more technical approach was the perfect combination.
A Master Showman..
One of the best guitar players ever! 🤘❤️🔥
First - This ain't easy to do. If you play guitar, you know how hard it is to be accurate with either hand while mucking about and 'throwing shapes'. Second - probable love child of Angus Young and Chris DeGarmo. Wait. Can you imagine the super group with DeGarmo and Clark? Third - Def Leppard instantly became a cover band after Steve's passing. He wrote well over 80% of the stuff that made Def Leppard Def Leppard. No disrespect to Viv, but it's just fact that you cannot replace a harmony virtuoso with a guitar virtuoso. Looks good on paper, but the results, or lack of, speak for themselves.
BINGO!
Hey...you got it right, been wondering about something e'time listening to old Queensryche albums,it's De Garmo melodic solo and his composition, resembles Steve's. Def Leppard should've considered offering him to join when Steve passed.
P.S.Edited my comments here.I really do truly like this man here even though I never met this man before in my life. I really do feel a connection of closeness to wonna be near him everyday, in his life to. I really do truly also have some love, appreciationed here for the other guys that are in the band.I will continue to pray for all five of you guys here, that you all will continue to Cary on Steve Clark's memories, lagecy as far as his career music wise to
.
OMG yes! I feel it too, never met him either. I was a kid when I first heard and saw them on TV. He instantly was my favorite in that moment, and nobody's come close since. The connection is undeniable.
Love him. Hero
May he rest in peace. I had a very bad day when i heard of his death. So sad.
Steve eu vou te amar para sempre❤️
I was blessed to see the Pyromania tour in Las Vegas Nevada. They kicked some ass! But I sure am sorry I missed the 1988 tour we all see on video today. I would have loved to been able to see that tour.
I saw them both! You can rest assured, Pyromania was THE concert to see!! They were SO hungry, and the whole band was together onstage. With the Hysteria tour, there were 4 front stages. So you only got one member at a time. Too bad, because it was a band who liked each other, and rocked out TOGETHER.
Is it wrong to say I still want to marry Steve Clark? Man, I miss him so much.
It's never wrong lol I still do too 😜
Steve Clark is a 4Ever Legend, to His Family, Def Leppard His 4Ever Band Mates, & All of His Fans World Wide.
Stand Up, & Kick Some Love For Steve Clark in Honor for Steve Clark if Steve Clark Means Anything to You at All.
I was in a life threatening accident in 1987 which was the same year was the Hysteria Tour that Def Leppard did, & I had the most Awesome time in meeting Steve Clark, at a Burger King while he was in front of me in line ordering his meal, & drinks, & ice cream, & then after Steve Clark got done ordering his meal he bumped into me, & then he said Excuse me for bumping into you Sir. I was in 9th grade at that time, & then I ordered my meal, & then after i ordered & waited for my meal, & Steve Clark did to Steve Clark talked with me for 11 minutes, & I got His Hysteria Def Leppard Tour Shirt Right Off of His Back, Steve, signed the shirt, I got 2 guitar picks of Steve Clark that he signed for me in person at Burger King, & I also got 4 polaroid photos with Steve Clark, & he signed the 4 photos to.
I told Steve Clark that God saved my Life, & then Steve Clark was 2nd for saving my life with the music video by Def Leppard a song Called Armageddon it with Steve Clarks Solo, & while I was laying in the hospital bed recovering from my life threatening accident, the music video sparked Life into me when Steve Clark did his Solo in the music Video, & I told Steve Clark, & said you know Rick, No One has Ever told me that Ever I had a hand is saving someone's Life Ever.
I said to Steve Clark well you did, & I am 4Ever Great full to you Steve, & Steve told me Rick your blessed from God, & then you having been able to see & watch The Def Leppard Armageddon It music video of All places in a hospital, & you being a hospital bed recovering from your car accident, & your here today, & talking with me.
I am Listening to my Def Leppard CDs with Steve Clark in Every Song he is N with Def Leppard Loud, & Proud to give Steve Clark the honor for him being such a Awesome human being, & a humble person to.
Even though Everyone has lost Steve Clark on the day of Jan. 8th 1991, which is Also Elvis Presley's Birthday to, that is a painful day for me because I Actually got to meet Steve Clark, & talk with him in a Burger King when I was in 9th Grade in high school that year. Yes I have Every Hysteria Album, CD, the cassette, Record,.
Steve Clark thank you for just being you, & taking the time to talk with which will be my most Awesome memories on that day, talking to you.
Steve, I See Your Up In Heaven Rocking Out with your Guitar, & the Angels is your Choir. Rocking On 4Ever Steve Clark.
Long Live Steve Clark 4Ever In All of Us that Like Steve Clark At All, in our Own Reasons.
Are You Geddon it. I'm ma Geddon it, & I am Standing Up To Spread Some Steve Clark Honor into Motion for Everyone to Rock out to as Well in Steve Clarks Honor. as much as Possible 24 / 7/
Def Leppard Rocks 4Ever, but Def Leppard was better with Steve Clark.
Steven Maynard Clark, 'The Riffmaster' had it all, he was a genius who's loss to DL cannot be quantified, that they have toured off the music he penned and melodies, harmonies, hooks and riffing says it all. Post his incalculable loss DL have at best produced mediocre material. Live Ross Halfin spotted Steve very early in 78, he oozed cool, the Colorado gig I implore ALL to watch, his creme Les Paul with Kahler the best guitar I've seen. A true rock star. Icon. Legend.
I started listening to them in grade school ! I’m 53 now and still ROCK OUT ! To These Guys !
IM DROOOLING OMG
Thank you for the good movie.Let me share.🥰🍹
"let's watch steve playing and every time he spins we kiss"

Incredible musician and the epitome of cool. Mesmerising to watch and listen to, Steve was the real deal. ❤🔥
fucking guy ripped the stage apart every time rip steve always on fire💥
Excelents!!
I want part two.....
He was brilliant!!
I remember where I was when I heard of his death. I knew at the time that the band would never be the same. Imo, that's proven true. Still glad the band survives and tours. Just not the same.
I LOVE THIS COMPILATION 😍😍😍😍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 man, he was something!!!!
The pink guitar was a Kramer. Steve only used it once.
Hi def leopard watching this video rembering Steve Clark brings back memories to me I brought your greatest hits CD vault I miss Steve Clark rock on def leppard
i’m not def leppard lol
@@musicmedicne hi okay def leppard is one of my favorite rock bands Steve Clark being missed you don't get music like this anymore def leppard is bess
The Very best Guitarist ❤
👏👏👏👏
Dude I miss the lead guitarist of Def Leppard everyday he was amazing to watch and very handsome. It’s sad that alcohol is what took his life
Rock star!
Rip Steve
It's amazing that Def Lepp and Van Halen not only wrote, played and created such great songs, they LOOKED the coolest doing it too! Look at any "tribute" to either band. No one can even PRETEND to be as cool. I guess the drinking, drugs and smoking kept them young and skinny, and $$ got them the wardrobe. But still...
Such a cool, tormented soul...but that's not what makes him great. So talented, humble and super cute.
4:10. Hey Chuck Berry check this out lol
I will love him forever
Interesting, the 1st 5 or 6 notes of this sounded like an Ozzy tune. On top of the Steve Clark vids though.
it is. i used a black sabbath song for my intro because it works well. it’s like that for all of my “compilation” videos.
@@musicmedicne Just making sure I wasn't losing my mind. An Ozzy fan would Recognize that. I think a lot of him as well. I wonder how many people don't Lol?
AAAAAAH❤️❤️❤️ I was just thinking abt him earlier today and how I should draw his picture (maybe in january since it will be the anniversary of... well, you know😭). If I do draw him I could tag you on instagram if you want?
The one sexy cool guitarist
His guitar was like a 5th appendage- or maybe 6th 😉
1:57 - a little harder hoisting that doubleneck in the air, eh Steve?
Def Leppard Ended in 1993 with Adrenalize for me
I'm pretty sure Steve loves to spin around
Min 2:21 "Wasted" 🥺💖
He was Def Leppard
.16 - .18 secs which footage/song?
How the hell did he play with the guitar hanging so low?
Wow. I thought I was a Jimmy Page fanboy but...😜
Where can I find the hysteria performance at 3:00 min mark?
here you go! ruclips.net/video/REyrtsb7Vlo/видео.html
I might be a demon, but im a pretty one that loves you
Is it me or he had incredibly long arms?
drink responsibly.
get out of my fucking comments
Steve Clark had some great moves with his guitars for sure. But you edited the clips too quick and brief. Next time include a few seconds of the clip before and after each "move" you're featuring.
the reason i make the clips “quick and brief” are 1. to keep the video moving along (not everyone has the same attention span) and 2. some of the clips in the original videos would only show a shot of steve doing the move then cut to something else
3:00 you better stfu. you BETTER stfu
HE LOOKS SO CUTEEEEEEEE
Doing those moves with an 11 pound guitar is not easy.
He definitely got some of his moves from Jimmy Page
