This is the demo version of “when love and hate collide” It was originally to be released on the “Adrenalize” Album, but due to unknown reasons it was delayed, and then rewritten. It was one of the last songs Steve worked on;and was the last guitar solo he wrote before his passing.

Hes the reason why i want to pursue guitar as a career. Hes my favorite, and possibly always will be. He simply makes me feel a way no other guitarist ive ever heard has before. He had alot more to say before he passed. I just wish we could hear it

It was left off cause the band preferred Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad, and I believe Phil mentions in his All About Steve interview that was one of the songs they were jamming to before he passed.

Typical Elliot. I remember seeing Savage say after Viv joined the band verbatim "I look over to my right and it's as if nothing has changed". Sav is a cunt. He has never given the credit to the genius who even Viv has said "90% of what we play Steve left us". Facts - Leppard have achieved nothing successful record wise after their genius, their primary song writer, and master of creating epic harmonies, melodies, hooks, bends and his iconic riffing. That's context.
