Mine as well..I just wonder why they never released the potential biggest hit of RS career "Father Time", such a waste..that was the biggest marketing mistake of his career, instead of this they decided to go for "Mr Bluesman" that was not a good choice to promote the album, especially internationally (although the song itself is not bad). I am curious because behind "Father Time" song there was also Desmond Child and I am sure there had been some plans as regards that song but something happened later that prevented it from being promoted....

Somewhere in the night
There's one light burning
All alone with my fears
No words are spoken
A story yet to be told
Locked in my mind
Hope is somewhere ahead
Shining brightly
But the past is always following close behind
See my life going by, each moment I am alive
I keep reaching out, holding on, hoping
Somewhere in my life
There's one light burning
I feel it like my heart beating inside
Somewhere in the night
There's one light burning
Somewhere in my life
There's one light burning
I feel it like my heart beating inside
Somewhere in the night
There's one light burning
Leading the way, leading the way.
Sandra Palacio thanks. glowing in your eyes lighting up the sky.leading the way
It may just be me, but it seems like some wrong lyrics and some missing lyrics? Anyone else?
Thanks for the Lyrics. Since English is not my mother tongue, I really wanted to understand the Message. And it really moved me. Greetings from Peru
I love this song ¡ 💕🎶
Probably my favorite song off of "Stranger in this Town." Brings me back, man!
I had Richie's cassette and loved it! He has such a soulful voice, full of passion and emotion. I especially love the blues' influence in his work.
God bless Richie Sambora and his guitar!!!
Richie Sambora is not only a phenomenal guitar player, but also has a beautiful voice. Now that I've listened to him singing by himself, I wonder why his singing wasn't utilized more in Bon Jovi along with Jon's?? That's ok, he got his chance on his album and he sounds great! Not to mention that is one beautiful man to look at! :-)
Brenda Blakely He always sings with John, only with a higher rating, but if you realize almost always sings.
Regards.
Yeah but by himself? Not until I bought his albums did I realize the beauty of his vocals. # Richie Sambora
Brenda Blakely I like Richie's voice more than Jon's. Nowadays Jon just sings with his nose..
I agree lol
Brenda Blakely Legendary vocalist, and guitarist.. And a crucial part of the Bon jovi sound.. Jon would not be half of what he is without Richie Sambora.. And in my humble opinion, the album Stranger in this town, is a better album than all the bon jovi albums.. and with incredible vocals..
They sure know how to make videos with great songs back then ;)
this is a stunning album any way you cut it, songs, playing, solos, melodies, I was amazed hearing it for the first time, wow. This should have been a #1 album across the land for that year, at a minimum.
I bought this album when it came out, being a huge Richie fan. I had forgotten all about it till this song came up on a music Playlist. It's a beautiful song and Richie is really a gifted artist, beautiful voice along with his obvious guitar talent
