Nick one thing you haven’t noticed is that one ui hasn’t optimized all the animations. For example when you’re watching a video and swipe up to see it in pip the animation is nonexistent, meanwhile pixel nails this. Also, when you swipe immediately to a different page after swiping up to go home the phone freezes for a second until it finishes the animation. Even the S24 ultra have these problems
I've noticed that with the A55, but I've tried 24 plus and it seems there is no issue, I've tried different units of A54, and one of them has the issue while the other does not.
You can even speed up both phones by removing all animations and they fly, the a55 has a great camera tho, i have it, i dont play games, for that i have my pc, but it performs well for work and daily tasks, i even use it with bixby by voice or stuff, never lags. And u cane have several apps open and all good

I don't think you should get it cause in india temperatures are so high sompared to other countries where all tests are tested and all tests vary depending on user.
The only reason I gravitate towards the A series because of the expandable memory options. I would definitely prefer the S series if it had a SD card slot, Samsung can do it but then they cant take advantage of selling different internal storage capacity iterations per model. It's sad they gave up on that for making more money.

That's why the Chipset are important to me - I wanna know how far I can go (if it can run a PS1, maybe a PS2 emulator w/o struggles). Running single apps in a row is fun and all, but I wish such tests included some real world use cases like multitasking, when using say google maps in navigation mode minimized to PiP window while scrolling through reddit or twitter and listening to music, or when using split screen apps, one of which is you editing a video, etc, and see if the phone dips back to 60Hz and becomes hotter. This is where the budget device is gonna tank. If you're just someone who only plays subway surfers and then scrolls instagram for a bit then A55 is fine I guess..
I didn't see the s24 being way faster than the a55 in any of these tests. The gap would widen considerably if you pushed both phones to use 100% cpu and ram resources for longer periods. Note: Shutter speed is a value that determines how long the shutter will remain open to expose the sensor to light and is set by the user. It has no relationship with performance.
You need to take into consideration for how much you would keep that phone because i see many people buying the newest flagship and losing a ton of money by reselling at at the 2 year range plus the fact that the batteries are degrading and after years the flagship battery capacity would fall just like the midranger and if you dont actually need that performance you would be better buying the midranger and if you want quality photos you re better off buying a camera designed for this, tho the A55 does great photography anyways

This video is covering A55, the A54 is a super amOLED display with 1080 so you don't get the best of samsung which is dynamic amoled 2x with wqhd+ resolution. The Super amOLED 1080P screen on A54 appears that way because it has less density due to a large panel with 1080. Also is there a screen protector on your screen?

Hey Nick, I just wanted to let you know that the Galaxy A series has a different software than the S series. You can see that in smoothness and some bugs on the A series because it's not prioritized. Also, flagships have smoother animations.

How tf even cares about literally miliseconds of opening time, yes the fingerprint is not the same but you have 4 registering slots for the A55 and if you do 2 on a finger and 2 for another finger it unlocks way faster, also the s24 has a optical 3x zoom camera, imo having to pay nearly triple the price for minor improvements seems like a ripoff but yeah

Small form factor means less internal volume to pack less hardware and smaller form with same hardware means more production cost.
