Thank you for this. I’m not from India but I’m deeply drawn into the teachings of Sadashiva & Nithyananda Swamiji. I know this helps with opening the third eye & the connection with Oneness. I’m making mine now. Namaste - Allyson from Connecticut 💜💚
Thank you I enjoy wearing stick on bindi but I want to take advantage of the health benefits when wearing one made out to natural properties blessings to you!
thanks for making this video! Swamiji Paramamhamsa Nithyananda is my guru and I think he would completely agree with your statement "Old is always gold" :)
1:20 द्रव का नाम क्या है? 1:20 What is the name of the liquid? [my English is too weak to understand the conversations (I was able to write this article with google translate)]
Mine keeps crystallizing on my forehead and flaking off. Should I mix it better? I have been practicing Hinduism for a year now and have started wearing the traditional Tilak.
Can you please give a list of ingredients? The last purple/pink liquid you used to mixed it before applying (was it another oil or vinegar or what?) is not given... nor any proportions are given either.

Thank you akka. This is natural and right way of making kumkuma. Nowadays everything is chemical synthetic based
Both men and women apply this daily. Especially the kumkum prasad from Devi temples.
Thank you di for sharing this superb idea... I am going to making it. And I love to apply a sindur. Now without any side effects I can use it daily.

I think that the haldi you are using doesn't have consistency. It's crystalized. Grind it more and make it smooth.
I was so ready to come here with a "this dosnt work" comment just to find out it was my fault since I jused bakingpowder instead of baking soda 🤦
When it dries it falls off do you have any solution for that?

Can we skip baking soda?
I assume he baking soda is what helps create the chemical reaction to turn the mixture red, so it's essential to the recipe.
