Quick update: 2 time first place! Beat Royal Knights and Diaboromon.
Made a few adjustments pre Promo Minomon. Thinking even though as much as I want the purple egg, the current one might still be better.
Agreed with you there. Curious to why you think so. For me, a big weakness the deck had pre-BT16 was that it often had a rough time setting up your trash without passing over way too much memory. Having the option to digivolve for 1 over the BT16 Poromon has been super helpful in efficiently passing memory.
@@Noojtxeeg I’ve been seeing a lot of list run that too. I personally like the Koromon because that’s my favorite baby and I like the extra draw.
@@Setosama02 The extra draw is nice indeed, but it does definitely feel bad when you lose to pillomon. That's the sole reason I run Poromon, otherwise I would've gone with Koromon as well.
As someone who took the deck to regionals and placed 32, I feel like a lot of players are prioritizing too much on the level 6s of the deck. The list I topped with, I ran 3 Dragon Modes, 2 Fighter Modes, and 2 Valks. You will find our pieces and you don't want to draw into them early.
I personally feel that the deck should be playing aggro with your level 5s instead now, and only go into your level 6s when you need to for the board wipe or the extra swing. Leaving your board with two level 5s who float into other bodies and can be a Valk Ace threat, so much scarier than a single fighter mode imo.
Hot take, my current list has actually completely dropped Fighter Mode. He just bricks your hand too much and is only helpful if I already have a Dragon Mode. I'm currently running 3 Dragon Modes and 3 Valks. Who knows, maybe I might add him back in, but it just doesn't feel like it's worth it.
@@Noojtxeeg interesting take. I have seen a few list running Valk. It is red and free but my reservations against it are that it’s not purple so I can’t get it back from the trash and it also doesn’t work with half of the fives. Then again neither does Gran…
@@Setosama02 Hi, just a bit confused, Why Kuwaga or valkyirie wouldn't work with the 5's? all 3 are red and purple, there should be no problem with blast evolving
