Still using, super happy with it. Good speakers, excellent camera even for 2023, great interface and small size. And what most, reliable without any issues, plus unlimited Google Photo storage. The greatest phone I have ever had. After 4 years I still have reasons to keep it.
The Samsung S9 was on sale around the time the 3a came out. 3a is good for the money but the S9 was faster and had a better screen and Micro Sd support.
Although I don't use it as my main phone I still regularly use my pixel 3a. Mostly because I love the pixel experience but also cause it has this ancient technology known as a HEADPHONE JACK 😂
2023 and I have an iphone 11 and a Google pixel 3 for what ever reason my pixel 3 still feels so good I had to put my iphone 11 down and started using my pixel 3
I became a Pixel user since acquiring and using Pixel 7 a week ago and am loving the experience of it. Thank you for making Pixel reviews including the Pixel 7 and going back in time for other models which still hold their own today. Your fan and subscriber from Sydney, Australia
Still running as a backup/spare... just got a 6a for less than ten bucks (Fi customer from way back) and pixel dust I guess. I didn't think twice and am loving it. Nice Device all the way around.
Great video thank you. Watching this on my pixel 3A. I do love this phone. No issues with it and has a great camera. Large screen. I'm waiting on the Pixel fold to come out in Australia. That's probably when I'll upgrade. Till then Im super happy and still in love with my 3A
Hi, yep I do. Still take great photos. Battery is good. Lasts all day. I don't use it to watch videos. Just checking msg, calls. I've had mine nearly 4yrs.
So I purchased a brand new Pixel 8 Pro used it maybe 3 weeks, sold it for like $200 than bought a used Pixel 3a not knowing anything about the smartphone other than it was a Pixel & I love every Pixel I've owned 6, 6a, 7,7Pro,7a,Fold & Pixel 8 Pro! So I knew it would no doubt be a step backwards for sure but not that much! I was pleasantly surprised by how it almost felt like my Pix 6a just not as snappy as the Tensor 1 lol did I just say that lol! Tensor was stronger! But on the real I easily unlocked the bootloader & Rooted the 3a with ease! Love it! & Cool Vid!
@@tanurathore2749 well rooting gives the ability (or permission) to alter or replace system applications and settings, run specialized applications ("apps") & pretty much install what you want. I like the fact you can get rid of all the crap apps you never use that you can uninstall for good when rooted!
My very first Pixel phone(although 2nd hand and a locked one). Ideal size for me. Pocket friendly. And you can go caseless with this one. I'm still keeping my 3a as my camera phone(my Lenovo Legion Y70 loses in camera department imo). Thanks for this video Boss.
Still using my pixel 3a but will now pass it on to my mom. It takes great photos for sure however the processor is really showing its age. Android 12 helped a bit but the 4 gigs of ram can no longer keep multiple common apps open in 2023.
I have a pixel 3a, 4a 5g and 6a. Like the 3a the best. Had the 6a for almost 2 weeks. Killed my sim and went blacklisted for no reason. Verizon couldnt even figure it out. 6a is chunky, heavy, and tinny speakers compared to 3a and 4a 5g.
@@danielDrumsVel it last me a day, I only use my phone for calling, texting, music, watching yt and tiktoks, scrolling through social medias. Tried gaming on this phone and I wouldn't recommend it, it won't last a day, maybe 4-5hrs or less.
@@jettnerona I bought it and I didn't like it, the battery is horrible and I better change it for a moto edge 20... The pixel takes amazing photos but it's not worth it for someone who is obsessed with the battery in less than 10 minutes it used up 18% battery haha

I bought it yesterday again .. bought it in 2019 and again but now price was 200.
My old one died LOST it :*(..
are you still using it now?
The 3a was the start of the awesome pixel A series 🔥
most definitely! glad they made the A-series phones.
The Samsung S9 was on sale around the time the 3a came out. 3a is good for the money but the S9 was faster and had a better screen and Micro Sd support.
Watching on 3a!! Still hype with this phone in2023!!!!
I still have a 3a (purplish) Was so happy to get it. Just using my 6 now...wonder if any one would buy it from me
Literally one of the best phones I've ever owned. It took better pictures than my Note 9 at the time.
same, I switched over from a Galaxy S9 at the time and was impressed.

Still using it as my only driver and plan on using it for another 3-4 years
I'm in the same boat but that plan could go down the drain since it's not receiving security updates :(

Thanks a lot Joel! I appreciate the support.
I lost my LG V60 hiking, I found a guy on market place selling his old 3a for 80 so far so good.

Thanks a lot for the review in 2023, I am going to purchase it as my primary phone in 2023
thanks for watching!

Do you still have this phone? I am buying 3a. How is the battery backup? Will it survive a full day camera usage?
Hi, yep I do. Still take great photos. Battery is good. Lasts all day. I don't use it to watch videos. Just checking msg, calls. I've had mine nearly 4yrs.
I got mine for £249 in 2019 and haven't considered upgrading from it ever since (3 shuttered displays and 1 battery replacements later)

Just bought it on ebay new for $100. Premium plastic with excellent camera for this price!
Can't wait to receive it...
thanks for watching! it's a terrific little phone.
@@TeamVRY Received 3a yesterday and upgraded to android 12. Taking excellent photos, no overheating issue, running quite smoothly... simply love it
Still the best phone I have ever used. Takes better pictures then every pixel ever released as well. And the build was so good.
definitely one of my favourite Pixel devices. it was a game-changer for sure.

I still keep a Pixel 4a that I use every single day for work stuff. The A series is so clutch. Great video Mike!
thanks man! I agree the A series are pretty solid.

true, the 4GB is a limitation for modern apps.
Why didn't you mention the headphone jack? Its a big thing for some users who like wired headphones.
The 3a was amazing but the 4a was even better and you have to acknowledge that. Writing this on a Pixel 7 🤙
No headphone jack on 4a.
I'm still using pixel 3a. It's always just been ok. The lag with messages has always been my biggest complaint
GREAT VIDEO!!!😎👍 Watching on Pixel 3a, 4a, and 6a cause this video is just that Good!!!♥️😘🥕📶🌳
I loved mine. My mother has my 3a now and she loves it too !😊

what android does this have? and is it worth buying 2nd hand in 2023
Can you explain this phone why 64gb internal memory no SD cardslot
Request Pixel 2 XL camera / full review, brother 🙂
How's your experience? I wanna buy a pixel 4a 5g in 230$.
Is it still worthy in 2023?
the 4a 5g is generally a good phone. If it meets your needs then I'd say go for it.
@@TeamVRY finally i brought it
@@joysharma279how is it? Because I'm planning to buy one too
Genuinely really don't know which one to buy the 4a 5G or the 3a. Really wants the ultra wide
Phone is great, I'm srill using it. Unfortunately I've replaced the display 6 times already... I'm waiting toll android 8 ro replace it.
On my pixel 3a, the CPU-Z app says that it has the Snapdragon 845 and when I search for information on Google it says that the Snapdragon 670
Pixel 3 had sd 845
CPU Z is No Good unreliable Try CPU X.
Pixel 3a with tezor chip, oh yes!
my 3a always reaches 43°C. is this normal
Its normal, thats actually not too bad... Motos and Apples run hotter.
THANK YOU
I still use this phone as a back up phone
👌👌👌

I have a pixel 4a 5g and is still a great phone even now. Great speaker sound. Supported until late 2024.
@@roadrunnerorange mines only supported till August and because pixels are so cheap, I'll be going for a 6a or even a 6
The essential android phone
It's bad. In 2023 it's extremely bad and unusable
Nonsense, they still work perfectly
New pixels are oversized crap
