    Why do you not stabilize the wood first? All of the wood you mentioned HAS to be stabilized before using in a knife handle or it will twist/warp as it dries or if knife is used in a damp environment. It’ll hang on for a few years but it will eventually falter.

    What wood is best for handles?

      Hard woods are usually better but if it is stabilized right any wood works.

      Have you tried super glue accelerator as used by kitchen fitters, since this video?
