I saw she's going to sing this next season at La Scala, I'm really excited - I just hope I'll have more luck than I had with Médée, when she was unwell and someone had to stand in for her. I can't think of anyone else I'd rather see as Norma, out of the singers active today.
Norma is much easier than Medee... she said Medee was enormously hard... and I think she has only said that before about one Rossini role... still I agree one has to be in very good vocal condition to sing Norma
Incredible vocal display from Marina as always. Do you by any chance have a recording of her singing Anna Bolena's act 1 cavatina/cabaletta? It's one of my favorite parts of the opera but I can only ever find her act 1 or act 2 finales
