Matt, we have our first game coming up (varsity and JV, I play both) and recently in practice, my emotions got the best of me cause of pressure to get PT on varsity. Do you have any advice to young hoopers who are feeling the stress of trying to get PT and prove themselves to coaches?

Matty I have my tryouts tomorrow for varsity. I’ve put in the work, and have done everything I can to prepare. I’m nervous, and feel super anxious. I know you’re busy with your own grind, but I need a little advice for tomorrow and Tuesday (they’re two day tryouts). I also just want to thank you. You’ve helped me be a better person and hooper, and brought joy and clearance back to the game. I can tell you’re putting in the work, and because of that and trusting God, you’ll win. Much appreciation bro, I couldn’t be more grateful. Do you have any advice?
Just do your best and god will do the rest.
Be Agressive, try your absolute BEST in your drills. Stay confident, pay attention to the coach. get to know the coach. And STANDOUT. Show him WHY you should be on the team.

Just wanna tell you that you inspire me alot, about a year ago I was slowly starting to move away from bball bc I thought I wasn't makin' any improvement felt like I was playin' the same over and over again but i realized that i was inproving just wasn't noticing it bc i wasn't fully implementing what i learn but I kept grindin cus of your vids
