  • 1893, meet 1983. Toward the end of the '80s, Fleet Street felt Stanford's alma mater was getting a little tired, so they gave the song ~just what it needed~. This year, we felt like that special piece of our history deserved a dignified retelling... so here's our shot-for-shot remake of the 1980s classic.

    If you had shown up in a time machine back in 1988 when we were filming the original gem and told us that 30 years later you'd be honoring our legacy with such a brilliant detailed homage, that somehow it would be possible to unlock precious memories of long gone college days, making nostalgia fresh again, that we were all part of an enduring tradition of sun, fun, and song so much greater than ourselves ... we totally would have jacked you for that sweet ass time machine.
    Nice video though.

    Hi Larious. Favorite part was the faithful reproduction of Jim Bryan's late finger point. Totally forgot about that.
