I've been an avid nail polish addict for years and I have to thank you for saving my peeling nails! I ordered the Nailtiques Formula 2 plus along with the organic argan oil and priti soy polish remover. It's been 3 weeks and I can see my nails and cuticles have already been transformed! I can't wait to see what they will look like at the end of the 6 weeks. I thank you so much for this video, and I will share it and recommend it to my other nail friends! Thank you so much!!!
Hi, I need a help. I am a woman who has been suffering from brittle nails for almost many years now. I have tried all tricks in the trade and nothing seems to be working. I was advised to be on a calcium rich diet and also take vitamin D supplements to help overcome the problem. However the problem never really got any better and over the past years it has been only getting worse. Frankly speaking, is there any which can be done to get my nails back to my original shape?
@@cristinasulzener4074 Being a bit knowledgeable in the field of nail and hair care, I firmly believe that I have an answer for you. I have used known as nails biotin. This is not a synthetic product sold to thousands as a marketing gimmick. Though there could be similar brand of biotin available in the market, I for one would strongly recommend a product known by the name Certified Biotin. From what I learn from your problem, it surely must be a case of biotin deficiency. Though you might be adding vitamin H and B-complex in your food, I would strongly urge you to go in for certifiedbiotin.com. I am sure you will find it an amazing solution and I have been able to give dozens of women the best of nail growth by using this product.
After many years of painting my nails and actually paying attention to my nails I've found that if I "listen" to them I can figure out what they need. Peeling usually comes from dry or dehydrated nails, if I pay attention to my nails I can typically tell if I need to add ore water to my diet or keep my nails bare to oil them up. I wish there was just one miracle cure for everyone! :-( glad you have found yours! :-)
Your nails are the most perfect nails I've ever seen!!! they look so healthy and have a really nice shape. No matter what I do, even if I have short nails, my nails peel a lot... I like long nails but they always break cuz they're pretty weak because of the peel... I'll buy that Nailtique through amazon asap! It says it cost $9 but as I'm from Chile, the delibery etc, I'll end up paying $18 :( but I'm so tired of my weak nails that I think it worths. Thank you a lot!
+Nebulousss Thank you! It's a lot of money for shipping so I really hope it works out for you. It ends up being roughly the same price over here in England, it's a pricey product it has to be said. I've also found that wearing polish less often and having a healthy diet helped too :) Good luck!
I tried this on your recommendation and I am happy to report my nails have finally stopped splitting! They are strong, beautiful and finally growing! Thank you!!
ArcadiaNailArt I went to CVS the other day to purchase OPI Nail Envy and found Nailtiques 2+ instead and SO happy I did. I started using it 5 days ago and my nails are so much stronger and not peeling. I've never been able to grow my index and middle finger nails past the tips of my fingers but since using this they have actually past the tips. Also, when I have bare nails I constantly moisturize my nails and cuticles with either coconut oil, olive oil, cocoa butter, etc. and wear gloves while washing dishes.... moisturizing is key ladies, thank you for this video again ArcadiaNailArt .:-)
Seriously this stuff is pure magic in a bottle! You are sooo right. I tried everything too and nothing worked, until I found this. I use Formula 2. I was going to mention that your nails had grown so long and beautiful and then before I said anything, here you are. Okay, so...Your nails are beautiful!
I use the Nailtique 2 Plus for my first coat and the Nailtique 2 for my second and third coat. The reason is there is less in the bottle of 2 Plus. My nails were doing the same as yours and had always been that way. I am just amazed how my nails have turned out. Thanks For Posting Your Video!
This is the only Doc recommended nail treatment that i know of and it absolutly works ! best product I have ever used recommend it to all my clients .Because i generally only do natural nails ! thanks .
Ingrid Ryan Thanks! I know it can be tricky getting brands in Australia.. I follow an Aussie nail blogger called morenailpolish, might be a good resource for you when it comes to available brands :)
I have been using nailtiques for three years!!!! I love it! Once you have healed your nails though, try switching to a gentler formula. I still use formula 2 every day to keep my nails long and they NEVER break. It's worth every penny :)
Thanks for posting this. I too have extreme peeling nails. I have tried everything and just like you have hesitated trying the 2plus. You are the third person that swears by this so I think I'm going to give it a try. Argan oil is amazing I use it on my skin hair and nails too.
I absolutely love love love love my Nailtiques!!!!! I get sad when I run out lol... I used to be a chronic nail biter for years... Now since I've been using this and nail magic, my nails are longer and stronger... I love ur videos and u have a new subscriber...
Thank you so much for this video, I will certainly try out this product. I have such flakey ridged nails. Also, to help with the yellowing I find soaking your nails in warm water with a denture tablet works, you can get a whole box for peanuts and it works a treat! For your feet you can even set up a foot spa if you have one and drop a couple tablets in. Brings them up to white in no time!
It did used to come in different packaging, they changed it recently. The old ones have a white cap and 2 lightening bolts in green and orange on them. You could get them, they should be fine, or try ordering from the states. In England on UK Ebay you can order from 'International Sellers' and I get most of my polish that way, from US sellers. I'm not sure if you even have Ebay in Germany but if you do you could also try that :)
It is a little stronger and it's something to consider (especially during pregnancy and breast feeding, personally I wouldn't use the Nailtiques then...or any other polishes tbh), but the results have been so fantastic I'm happy to keep using it. Take a look at the article linked in the description box, and you can always do some googling about formaldehyde too, never hurts to be informed :) Good luck with it, I hope it works!
I hope this helps me. my nails used to be normal then I got Coxsackie from my 6 yr old son and since then they have been peeling and dented. I'll do anything at this point.
Since trying nail tiqes formula 2+, and letting them be a round shape, my nails have grown out and I haven't had a break in months. Thanks so much for the video :)
Your nails are fricking gorgeous! At the start I thought they were fake because of the perfection. Wow. If this product makes my nails like that I am one hundred percent buying!
Wow! Thanks for doing this :) my nails also peel quite a lot but I've just been sort of putting up with it as I love painting my nails so much. I'll definitely have to try out some of these tips and see if the peeling improves though!!
YES! This stuff is AWESOME and IT WORKS. I started on the regular formula 2 in May and now I'm on formula 1! ^_^ This is the longest I've ever had my real nails, length wise too. They even have a formula specifically for people who have worn acrylics.
I used to have it really bad when it came to peeling at the nail tips. I saw some tips on how to remedy this and one of it was that I should switch to a crystal nail file and this is the first tip I tried and now I have zero peeling and my nails are growing longer because of it. I bought the OPI crystal file because it had the highest reviews out of all of them.
I've searched where I can get this in Germany and found some bottles which have an older looking packaging. The name is the same but the bottle is white with a white cap.Do you think it's the same ? Pherhaps they redisigned the packaging and these are just leftovers from the old looking ones? I've read that you wish this would come in a bigger bottle, I've seen it on ebay in bottles for salons which are really big - pherhapy this helps. Hope yiu reply concerning the different bottle. Thx
i'm planning to buy the formula 2+ from beauty bay when i get some money :3 i have a question about it. When i use the formula and put a layer on every day, can i still use curticle oil on my cuticles to keep them hydrated? :) or will it ruin the effect? Thanks for the video! i swear you make the BEST review, haul and nail care videos! Your nail designs are really awsome and cute too off curse!
nailtiques is awesome! i use the formula 2 one (not the plus) - the blue bottle - cuz i do have softer nails that rip easily. ive noticed that when i use it my nails are harder. i just do my nails so much that i never do tue process you do but im gonna consider doin tbis so my nails stay strong. also keepin my nails on a somewhat shorter length by trimming them with clippers thickens my nails & hardens them. im gonna look into that NP remover too. thanks for sharing this video!! :)
Maybe I will try Nailtiques. My nails are very thin, and they peel and broke all the time. I've been using Jessica restoration and it's doing a good job because my nails don't break so often and they are harder but they peel a lot anyway so... I'll give it a try, besides is cheaper so... Win win
I am a big fan of your IndigoNova1 channel and was so sad that you didn't seem to post anymore. I had no idea that you had another presence :-) Thanks for sharing!
It tells you to apply daily, and after 3/4 days it was peeling off my nails (which is normal for me) so I removed and started over fresh when that happened :)
2+ is a stronger version than 2. They recommend starting with 2 then if you think you need more power going on to 2+ until they're fixed. Once you're happy with the results, you should then use 2 as a maintenance product...I'll be buying 2 next cause 2+ has fixed my nails :)
Your nails are beautifull! I reallt want to try this. But they don't sell it where i live. That's in the Netherlands. My nails are splitting too. I stopped biting my nails a year ago. Love your videos!!!
Hey, nice informative video. I got a question for you, I have pretty good nails. They are in a good condition without much of staining, but occasionally I get peeling nails, not much but enough to ruin my good manicure. Do you think formula 2+ is good choice for me? I have to ask you this question before I place an order for this product from any USA website, as it is not available in here in India. If not which product you can suggest for lightly peeling nails? BTW, I like watching your videos. Your nail art ideas are great.
MsPrajakta8 Thank you! If they're only peeling lightly then try formula 2. 2+ is an intense version for super bad nails, so if you start with 2 it may be enough for you, then you can then make a judgement call when you need to order a new one as to whether you need to go up a notch to the 2+ or not :)
You can use regular thinner, I have an Orly one from ebay and an OPI one too. I just bought the Nailtiques special thinner that has added protein, I got it from beautybay . com :)
Would you say that all the organic and healthy oils, etc. you started using contributed to your healthy nails A LOT? Because Im willing to buy the Nailtiques Formula 2+ but I'm not so sure I want to buy all those other things...
A small mixture of peroxide and baking soda will help with the yellow coloring. Mix and scrub on top and underside of your nails with a small bristled hand brush. Let sit a moment then clean off. This helps bring your nails white.
I use argan oil on my hair and I have really frizzy curly hair. I just rub some through my hair in the morning and the frizz goes down a lot. I recommend this item to anyone with any type of hair
to remove the yellow add peroxide to soapy water and use a brush to clean bare nails... peroxide will will remove discoloration...ive been using nailtique for more than 10 yrs...this product is absolutely amazing,!!!
I have found that a product called Perfect Formula pink gel is a brilliant product to strengthen and keep your nail tips white. QVC sells this product but there are a lot of ebay shops where you can get this product cheaper.
I tried it a couple of years ago :) It was pretty good, but I thought it was really expensive back then. They sell it cheaper now tho and it's a good option for people to try.
I love this video ,you can find the base coat in the nail section of Walgreens. I saw it but there were two types so I had to go home and watch the video again lol
Awesome. I use Dazzle dry products which are the three chemical free, Vegan and stops yellowing. They also have cuticle oil, nail polish remover which are awesome. Look them up. They are a USA company
I think you should try using bliss kiss oil! It's jojoba oil and it's honestly so good please check it out and give it a try, I use it daily and I love it:-)
If your nails are splitting badly then I'd strongly recommend a 2 - 3 month detox. I cut my nails as low as I could go (sad face) then used the strengthener as I described in the video. As they grew out they were so much better because the Nailtiques was working well for me. You could also just try 2-3 months with nothing but oil, no polish or chemicals to really let your nails balance out :)
ArcadiaNailArt This is only difficult because I only found polish three months ago at age 60...and I just love it...I have been using Bliss Pure Nail oil like a madwoman for four days naked nails, and put Posche strengthener for dry brittle peeling nails on while I wait for my Nailtiques plus to get here. I find that when they are naked with just oil the peeling is much worse and I am trying to see what it is I do to make that true! I love your videos, have watched for a while but missed this one! xoxo
Did they peel back when you didn't wear polish? Mine did, but then got SO much worse when I started wearing it. I tried wearing polish constantly to see if that would seal up the surface and stop them peeling, but they got worse and worse. Nail polish is full of nasty chemicals which just wreck my nails I guess. I experimented and went one month with naked nails, and oil/creme 2/3 times a day. They got so much better. In my experience you need to bite the bullet and chop them down as far as they'll go and let the healthier pink section grow out with no polish (or strengthener). If they get better then do my routine, 30-50% of the time with no polish at all to give your nails a break from the toxins. If I wanted to wear polish all the time then I'd have to chop my nails very short, like 2mm of white tip, and I think I'd be able to maintain that with minimal peeling, so that's an option. I hope the Nailtiques works xxx
ArcadiaNailArt Thank you so much for your kindness in taking the time to consider my problem! They peeled much more during the naked four days- I have four nails that peel and six healthy ones that thrived with the oil. One thing though, I am happy with 2-3 mm- that is my style- so perhaps there is hope!
Thank you SO much!! I've finally gotten mine kind of under control by using Nail Envy, but I'm totally checking your recommendations out. Thank you SO much for this video!!!!'n
My nails react to regular nail polish and my whole nail will have to grow out to stop splitting & peeling. After 25 years of no polish I tried toxin-free polishes and so far so good.
My very thin badly peeling nails didn't respond to Nailtiques until I discovered quite by accident that a major reason for the peeling was low iron. I began a daily iron supplement first thing in the morning, and my nails are now much stronger, and the Nailtiques is keeping them looking fine. Anemia/low iron is probably why lots of women find their nails improve with prenatal vitamins.
My nails stop peeling and splitting when I started to use cuticle oil and cream. I wish I could find something that could truly make my fingernails harder. My nails break easily.
Nailtiques is a fantastic product and worked on my dreadful nails after two weeks. I shall never be without it. Even if nail polishes DO have acetone I always wash and scrub my nails with a nailbrush immediately after so I find it doesn't make any difference what so ever.
I've been an avid nail polish addict for years and I have to thank you for saving my peeling nails! I ordered the Nailtiques Formula 2 plus along with the organic argan oil and priti soy polish remover. It's been 3 weeks and I can see my nails and cuticles have already been transformed! I hope this helps me. my nails used to be normal then I got Coxsackie from my 6 yr old son and since then they have been peeling and dented. I'll do anything at this point.
Thanks to your recommendation I purchased nailtiques and wow what a transformation. Love the channel
Since trying nail tiqes formula 2+, and letting them be a round shape, my nails have grown out and I haven't had a break in months. Thanks so much for the video :)
This really helped me as my nails peel aswell and this was a really helpful video on how to tackle it!! Thanks!! :)
Thank you for the nail tips! I have been battling the peeling nails as long as I can remember! I will give this a shot! Thank you again!! :)

Lol! Thank you.
May I ask what colour you used at the beginning of the video? The beige was really pretty ^_^
I wanna say Glints of Glinda by OPI...it's been 4 years tho so I can't be 100% sure. :)
Alright, thank you!
I'll take a look at Formula 2, how is it as a base coat?
The tips of your nails are incredibly white and perfect, so much so that they almost look false - how do you get them like that? They look great!
Very very helpful, I am definitely getting priti nyc. Thank you for the video

Thanks so much for suggesting Naitiques!
I'm so glad you found me again x
hey.. where did you buy this from in the uk? looked on amazon and its 50 quid
:((
I use the same nailtiques!! It works sooooo well
I have found that a product called Perfect Formula pink gel is a brilliant product to strengthen and keep your nail tips white. QVC sells this product but there are a lot of ebay shops where you can get this product cheaper.
I tried it a couple of years ago :) It was pretty good, but I thought it was really expensive back then. They sell it cheaper now tho and it's a good option for people to try.
Hi look I have really short and weak nails do you have any tips or way to grow them out faster
I love this video ,you can find the base coat in the nail section of Walgreens. I saw it but there were two types so I had to go home and watch the video again lol
Had the same problem. I got it and I love it! Thanks for recommending!
You're welcome! I'm so happy Nail Envy worked for you, my Mum gets great results from it too :)
great nails! what color of polish are you wearing in this video?
Oh dear, I honestly can't remember :( Apologies, but if I guessed I'd go with China Glaze Igniting Love, or Poinsettia.
ArcadiaNailArt Thanks....I actually meant the "nude" color that you're painting in the video :)
wildcharm911 Ah, I know that one lol, it's Glints of Glinda by OPI, you can see me swatch it in this video - ruclips.net/video/Vi0fVHhPONQ/видео.html
ArcadiaNailArt Your nails are so perfect - the shape, size and smoothness! I just hit Subscribe!
wildcharm911 Thank you!
Yesss...Nailtiques works..love it...however, I wish it came in a bigger bottle.
so do you use the treatment as a base coat?
Thank you for the tips.
The Video is great.
I Will Give It a try.
Awesome.
I use Dazzle dry products which are the three chemical free,
Vegan and stops yellowing. They also have cuticle oil, nail polish remover which are awesome. Look them up. They are a USA company
Congrats on your nicer nails!!!
wow!! your nails are perfect!!
I love the nailteks2. It really helped my nails. Thanks for sharing!!
Occasionally, but I think regular base coats give colours more staying power tbh
I think you should try using bliss kiss oil! It's jojoba oil and it's honestly so good please check it out and give it a try, I use it daily and I love it:-)
i just straight up use jojoba oil
Doesn't pushing your cuticles back prevent that?
can u make a video on how you shape you nails, mine r a mess
Omg yeeesss
Oh no I swear I thought u said just formula 2 not 2+ ugh I just picked up the wrong one do they still perform the same!??
You can make a paste with Baking soda and hydrogyn peroxide to whiten nails.
Nice One!x I love this channel
When did you resume polishing? I hate to think of no polish....I just completed a three day go naked bliss oil regimen but my splitting is so bad...
Omg... I thought I was the only one with this problem. Thanks for this video :)
I love this product.
Where do you buy it
Where do you buy the tinner?
I'm so happy it worked!!
WOW YOUR NAILS ARE GGGOOOAAALLLSSS
+emø tøp Haha, thank you!
Great advice!
Forgot to mention that I use the Nailtiques regularly now to keep them looking good. And wear gloves for wet work!
How much did the nailtiques formula 2 cost??
My nails stop peeling and splitting when I started to use cuticle oil and cream. I wish I could find something that could truly make my fingernails harder. My nails break easily.
Genise, DoloresCrochet creations *Harder nails break easier*
Thanks for sharing.
Great product.
Is there a specific reason why you applied a layer every night and then removed it and started all over again? :)
Nailtiques is a fantastic product and worked on my dreadful nails after two weeks. I shall never be without it. Even if nail polishes DO have acetone I always wash and scrub my nails with a nailbrush immediately after so I find it doesn't make any difference what so ever.
