    What grows hair?
    ✅Commitment
    ✅Consistency
    ✅Care (being extremely gentle)
✅Cleansing (solid scalp and hair cleansing regimen)
✅Crops (crops (vegetables), overall diet, ample water
Hair is constantly growing, but must be maintained to thrive. (Cleansing, grooming)
I have used these ingredients to help me achieve waist length hair. In addition, you must keep your hair in protective styles (twists, braids) for long periods of time. (3 - 4 weeks at a time etc) practice gratefulness, positive mindset, excellent diet, proper sleep, consistency, exercise, gentle detangling, no heat at all (my experience), daily oiling of hair ends , deep scalp massage, diy natural mild shampoos and deeply moisturizing diy conditioners, practice mindfulness and lower stress. The results are my own. All results vary. Hair does not grow long overnight. Average hair growth is 6 inches a year. I started my natural hair journey 10 years ago but had many setbacks as it took many years of research and trial and error to find methods/products that worked for me. Of the 10 years, it took me roughly 4 years to achieve waist length hair.
More insight: I’m a non-smoker and do not drink alcoholic beverages, nor do I take any medications.

    What grows/retains hair?
1.Loving your hair (positive mindset first)
    2.Consistency
    3.Penetrative Oiling… often😊
    4.Being Very Gentle
5.Being Aware of what works and doesn’t work for your hair
6.Mild shampoo (very important, sometimes your shampoo is what is setting your hair back, drying and causing breakage)
7.Lubricating and tucking ends (coiling, twisting etc)
    8. Diet and wellness (low stress through daily prayer and meditation; 3x a week exercise)

I've made onion juice before but didn't use it consistently as I found the smell hard to wash out. I've recently bought an onion oil which is very potent. It's definitely something that needs to be done right before wash day. Not sure of the results as yet.

    • @tialynn1111

Yes I always do this on wash day! The smell is extremely potent, however it can be rinsed out when using mild shampoo and diluted ACV. Thank you for sharing your experience 💕

I think transparency is really important. Like is long hair in your family? So we don't think we too can get this length just because of the ingredients.

    • @tialynn1111
      @tialynn1111  8 месяцев назад

No ma’am, long hair does not run in my family.
Hair length was retained due to me oiling
Being gentle, consistent and having a great moisture routine 🙏🏽
Quality ingredients contribute to a healthy scalp and strong follicles.
Long healthy hair is about making sure your hair doesn’t break and preventing breakage.

How long should I use this for once a month before using every other week? Can you add essential oils? Everyone and y'all's family have a blessed New Year and always stay blessed and healthy ✝️🙏🛐🕊️. Sending love to everyone 🤗

      Hi Kim!
Not sure I understand what you are asking:
‘How long should I use this for once a month before using every other week?’
It is best to use once a week, or at max 2x a week (the onion is very potent)
Yes you can add essential oils to this mix, but use sparingly. 3-4 drops for every 1/2 cup.
      Have a blessed New Year!

    Hi :)
I wanted to know how do i get rid of dandruff on my scalp? After i do my hair it gets really itchy and hard to ignore :(
Also is it bad if i put my hair in mini twist for only 2 weeks? Am i taking it out too soon? I dont like to go longer than two weeks without washing my hair
    I really enjoy your videos!

    • @tialynn1111
      @tialynn1111  9 месяцев назад +7

Thanks 💕There’s not really a cure for dandruff, it’s more about maintaining scalp health and stopping dandruff in its tracks…(prevention)
Best way to do this is by using antibacterial/anti inflammatory essential oils and oils (black seed oil) such as tea tree, vetiver, thyme (which contains thymol) in combination with a soothing natural plant gel such as aloe Vera and diluted ACV.
So creating a mix that contains
      Aloe juice 1 cup
      Tea tree oil (few drops)
Vetiver (very strong so only 1 drop)
Thyme oil (very strong so only 1 drop)
1 tbsp ACV (apple cider vinegar)
Massage and Apply to scalp for 30min to 1hr
      Rinse.
Then keep scalp oiled w an herbal based oil
      (Rosemary/thyme oil)
But you’d have to do this treatment weekly or every 2 weeks. There’s also research that dandruff may be caused from diet (yeast, please research or ChatGPT this)
And make sure you are not allergic. Always do a patch test to ensure you are not allergic to these strong ingredients.
2 weeks of twists is perfectly fine and gives your hair rest. I like to rinse/aloe wash my hair weekly in the shower when I have these long term protective styles in my hair. The key is to be gentle in the installation and take down of a protective style. These are the most crucial times that hair can break (along w also the shampooing process)
