Wow. Thanks for the insights very helpful. Im looking to start a 1-on-1 art tutoring business. Things I'm still researching are platform to use for the actual site. Scheduling software, planning lessons. 😵 Hopefully you will/have covered these topics.
Good morning Lisa ☀️! I started an online ESL business. Any suggestions on getting FREE or low cost Pronunciation lessons for adults ? Your help is appreciated.
Did you create an LLC? I’m looking to start my own tutoring business but not sure where to even start. I was going through varsity tutors but they don’t pay enough.
I have taught Special Ed for over 30 years and would be interested-in tutoring any level of special needs students and general Ed kiddos from K-6 remotely. How much would I make an hour?
Hello, fantastic video and really informative. Would you recommend waiting to become a qualified teacher before starting tutoring? I am currently working in secondary school with over 4 year experience In primary PE and assistant work, but am going to complete my PGCE next year. ( current undergraduate) Should I register ? Get insurance? Just as a solo tutor
No you don't have to register - at least not in Australia where I'm from. I'd recommend you seeing what your country's requirements are. Here, it's a good idea to get a Working With Children's Check which means that you're verified ok to teach those who are underage. Great question!
im a 16 year old student who is able to teach mathematics for SATs children and i will charge £5 per hour for my service… how would i advertise myself?
Of course you are paid! You should be for the time you're investing into students :) I've just launched my 'Part-Time Tutor Academy' online course if you wanted to check it out in my description :)
Hey Lisa :) You are awesome!! Very inspiring!! I have been a teacher for years. I have started a private tutor business but I really need help! Especially with marketing on social media. Do you give private lessons?
